Breathe deep with the Aroma-Tranquility Massage. The serene scents of lavender, chamomile and sage dissolve the day’s worries while your therapist’s gentle touch coaxes the tension out of tired muscles. Warm towels around neck, hands and feet complete the effect, leaving you relaxed and peaceful.
A Hot Stone Massage will melt away your troubles with the warmth and weight of the Earth itself. Water heated basalt stones are placed on the body to calm frayed nerves and penetrate tired muscles. Deep earthy scents ground and relax you as your therapist moves heated stones over your body, melting away tension and stress.
History
Established in 2013.
Jennifer became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2012 and shortly thereafter set up a small massage studio in Minden, Nevada with a business partner and friend from school. As business began to grow and the space became too small for the both of them, they decided to separate. Jennifer then moved her business to Carson City and now works within A New U Salon and Spa.

Business Owner
Jennifer Jenks; Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist and Reiki Master:
Jennifer was introduced into the world of alternative healing avenues when two of her younger siblings were diagnosed with Autism over ten years ago. Finding very little help for them in the medical arena, her mother turned to alternative and holistic paths and found great success with simply changing the foods that she fed them. The progress her siblings made left a profound impression her as she grew older.
Her experiences with her family led her on a search for more information in the alternative healing domain led her to study Reiki with Dr. Susan Barry and then ultimately led her to The Bodhi Tree Center for Healing Arts. It was there she found a natural talent for massage. Her unique style, combination of several therapeutic and relaxation techniques, easily adapts to each client’s individual needs to leave you relaxed, refreshed and renewed!
