Dr. P’s been my eye doc since I was 9. He’s seen me through glasses, contacts, and then Lasik surgery and aftercare. He’s been seeing our daughter since she was about 5 for just routine check ups. With my past cruddy vision, I know that genetics may take over and doom my small child. He’s the only one I trust with our entire families vision care and always always always my recommendation to anyone who will listen that he’s the guy to see.

Dr. Palazzolo is the BEST! He takes the time to talk to you about anything and everything with regards to your vision. He never pressures you into making any decisions. I have been a patient for many years and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor that cares about them as a patient and about their eye care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Palazzolo’s for more than 25 years. He answers all of my questions and takes the time to explain everything to me and also ensures that I understand what he is telling me. He has taken great care of me and my family. I can’t imagine ever going to another Optomitrist.

Our family of five are all patients of Dr. Palazzolo, and have been for over 15 years. Dr. Palazzolo is knowledgeable about eye care, respectful to his clients, careful not to make quick decisions, but will refer you to someone he knows and trusts if he feels a second opinion would be best. As others have noted, he talks to his clients frankly, yet respectfully – never demeaning or belittling. Most of all, he is HONEST – his integrity is above reproach.
His staff is courteous, pleasant, and professional. They give polite reminder calls the day before your appointment, and do try to work with their clients’ busy schedules.
All in all, Dr. Palazzolo is a great family optometrist! (And he is consistently voted #1 Best Eye Care Specialist in Carson City – that says a lot!)

Dr. Palazzolo is great. He answers every question with patience and expertise. He even answers questions that I didn’t know I had, and that’s pretty unusual. He’s still enthusiastic about his work and he’s genuinely interested in the function and health of the eye, in general, and the patient’s eyes, in particular. Office staff is also great. I have healthy eyes and just need glasses, but I feel confident that he would know what to do and where to send me if I ever have anything horrible. For my high-​strung personality, that’s really comforting.

Dr. Palazzolo is amazing. He explains everything in real world terms. His staff is professional and personable. I drive 2 hours to see him instead of any one locally. He is a cool doc.

Dr. Palazzolo is an awesome Doctor. he talks to you in English like a real person, not someone who wants to impress you with his education. My family and I will go to Dr. Palazzolo as long as he practices. His staff as well are friendly, courteous and very helpful. Just an all around good place to take your eyes.

Doc P is great he knows his stuff, his thorough, has all the latest gadgets to insure your eye health. That office has their act together.

Dr. Palazzolo takes his time with every patient and makes sure you understand what he is explaining about your eye health. I moved away for a while, and the eye doctor I went to kept ordering expensive tests and inserted plugs in my tear ducts-​all unnecessary expenses. I’m very happy to be back with Dr Palazzolo! His staff never keeps you waiting.

It’s always a pleasure to see Dr. Palazzolo and have him check my eyes. He tells it «like it is» and I like that about him. The facility is state of the art and always clean and bright.

I like the new technology that Dr. Palazzolo has adopted over the years. The new machine that takes pictures of your retina is reassuring to this very myopic person. Because of my particular eye condition I see the doctor once a year. I appreciate the fact that Dr. Palazzolo is about eye health and not pushing glasses.
The opticians have picked out nice glasses for me over the years. It’s very hard to pick out glasses when you can’t see how they look and your face is challenging to fit.
I have referred a number of people to the office; they have all had a positive experience.
I’ve only seen Dr. Peterson once; she was very thorough and professional and I liked her as well. I just relate to Dr. Palazzolo — his vision is as bad as mine.
I also have to commend the office staff and technicians. Everyone is very nice. And I’ve never been kept waiting.

I have never been treated and educated so well by such an amazing doc! I thought my appt would take 20 minutes. It was the most thorough pardon the pun, eye opening visit I have had. So, that’s how an eye dr. Appt is supposed to go!!! Many of my colleagues see dr. Palazzolo and I now know why. Don’t hesitate to get top notch service and really get treated well. This ain’t wal-​mart baby!

Best optometrist I’ve ever been to. I’ve probably gotten five or more pairs of glasses there over the years. They have great styles of frames to choose from. I can go in there any time I have a problem and they fix it immediately. Never had such good service in my life. Dr. Palazzolo found out my son was color blind after he passed a so-​called screening when he was younger at another office. Now we know why he was running all those red lights!
