History

Established in 1991.

Our principals have been in the wire rope business for over 25 years and have become specialists in manufacturing up to ½ Inch diameter custom cable assemblies for many different uses.

We supply custom cable assemblies to customers throughout the United States and abroad. Our assemblies can be found in vehicles, airplanes, gymnasium equipment, weighing devices, slot machines and a multitude of other industrial and consumer products.

In 1998 The Cable Connection designed and introduced the innovative new Ultra-​Tec® line of stainless steel tensioners and mounting hardware designed especially for cable railings. The Ultra-​Tec® product line met with immediate success and has become the preeminent line of its type for use in cable railings. A large inventory of Ultra-​Tec® cable railing hardware is maintained in our factory warehouse in Nevada and by our nationwide distributor, The Wagner Companies, in Milwaukee Wisconsin.

Business Owner

Mike who currently serves as Chairman and President founded the company in 1991 after serving 13 years in various production and general management positions in the wire rope industry. In 1998, The Cable Connection introduced the innovative Ultra-​tec® line of stainless steel tensioning and mounting hardware designed especially for cable railings. The products met with immediate success and the Ultra-​tec® line has subsequently become the preeminent line of its type in North America, with distribution from its warehouse in Nevada and through distributors located throughout North America and Europe. Manufacturing facilities include state-​of-​the-​art computerized lathes and mills and assembly operations in a modern up-​to-​date company owned facility built in 2006.
