Chile Verde

Besides the service and the workers the food is great I love my Tortas lol they bomb. Just wish the workers here would be more friendly and not talk to you like your stupid

I know and love Chile Verde but have honestly stayed away from this location because it was in the mall. I just didn’t think it would be as good as the other locations. I was pleasantly surprised at how big my cheese enchiladas were. I got a nice portion of beans and rice. They even had some specials. I will definitely continue to come here. Unfortunately they don’t have potato tacos so this will be my second location.

Probably some of the worst mexican food i have ever had in southern california. Bit into the chicken burrito and instantly it leaked like 3 ounces of water for what reason? I thought maybe the tomatoes but there are no tomatoes in the burrito. Horrible chips as well

Tried their wet burrito last night meat was in big chunks and dry disgusting. Money wasted! I ended up buying pieology pizza instead afterwards. The girl working there on top of it all had horrible customer service seem as If it hurt her to speak up? I should of walked away as soon as I didn’t even felt welcome. Never Again will I come back.

Girl with dark hair usually works mornings is super rude and has an attitude for everything!

Young employee with the dark hair that helped us out was just rude. Asked her if they had wet burritos because I didn’t see it on the menu, she answered saying «yeah they’re right in front of you» like I was stupid. Then walked away to do something. I had to wait for her to come back and it felt like she was rushing us. When we were ready to pay we started to pull out money and she went ahead and took another customer’s order and finished him before she got back to us. I worked in a restaurant as manager and if it’s one thing, customer service is everything. Horrible customer service here, didn’t feel welcomed and for the girl, she needs to work on her customer service.

The manager is so rude. It really takes away from ur experience. I love to come and get the chicken salad but after having to deal with her bad attitude on more than one occasion I’m not sure if I’ll be back. No one wants to deal with a attitude.

I went to use a coupon for a discount on an order and the lady told me that I had to have a coupon for each meal I ordered when the coupon does not state that nor does it have a limit stated on the coupon. So I left without ordering anything.

Great food for a not too bad price! Got the chicken enchiladas with a iced tea. Two thumbs up and filled me up. Would recommend!

Up until today I had enjoyed their food and the service was a’ight. They got my order wrong and I didn’t find out until after I got home. I drove back and all the cashier could say was that she had another burrito in front of her and she confused the orders; sorry. No, here’s a soda or extra chips for the inconvenience just an «oh, my bad». So I had to wait again and when I got my burrito the steak was tough and the wet sauce was watered down. They may have slipped me «the special» :(I should’ve just asked for my money back. Lesson learned. I will not be returning to Chile Verde.

Is it weird I actually like there food.
Trust me, going there I wasnt expecting much, and granted it not the healthiest choice, but they are located right inside the mall.
My go to is the two crispy tacos with rice and beans.
These crispy tacos are so awsome, I’m going to repeat this, There so AWSOME.
I havent even looked at the rest of the menu, got the tacos once and I was sold.
(So this review was just for the crispy tacos) LMAO.

Mediocre at best. Enchilada sauce is tasteless, tasted like they tried to stretch it out by adding flour as a thickener. Nasty. Chile verde, which you would think is good since that’s their name, is just as bad. Very watery and no flavor. Chicken is bad quality, tasted like the smell of raw chicken. Could have been old but I think it was just poor quality. Nothing authentic about this place.

I have to say I like chile verde’s nachos I got chicken on them nd I was enjoying them until I was chewing nd felt something sharp!!! Now I was thinking it was jus maybe a chicken bone or something but NO it was a piece of METAL!!! Nd let me tell u I went back nd complained about it but they really seemed like they had no interest in the matter. I didn’t take it any other actions but I haven’t gone back to that one since. More care needs to be put into things when u are serving ppl food!!!

The food at Chile Verde is spicy and flavorful, just the way my family and I like it. More rice and beans with the combination plates would be nice, though. The servers are friendly and usually get the orders right. Good food, good price. Love this place!

Went to Venice Beach and on the way back we were hungry, well my friend was starving he was basically having a mental breakdown in the car… So once we see Ikea off the freeway we pulled off because we knew there will be food and we drive around and I spot Chile Verde I have never heard of the place but I was hoping because it was Carson it would be semi authentic :) Then we get closer and see its a mall and I got scared… Mall food? Ehh oh well we were in line now… I opted for the two cheese enchilada and an extra hard taco. I noticed the prices were SUPER CHEAP maybe not for this area but where I live food prices are out of control triple what I paid here for a lesser product. So the food came out pretty quick but not before I could spill half of my Dr Pepper in front of the worker who had just cleaned the coke area — opps :) First bite I had a foodgasm it was freakin delicious!!! My friend (Mental Breakdown starving guy) Was like really? Its not that great but he ordered soft tacos and all that came on them was meat… they looked pathetic I wanted to drop kick them for looking so sad! Meanwhile back on my plate I was doin’ work!!! It was soooo good! Everything was just great I can’t say enough. Now im just sad that Carson is so far and i’ll probably never have it again! Maybe I’ll try another location! I loved the little salsa bar to! I’m so deprived of good mexican food in Huntington Beach :(Its a problem, Chile Verde please open a location in Huntington Beach!

Price– Average price for a burrito, I believe I paid around 6 – 7 dollars for the Carne asada burrito.
Quality of the food– The quality was good, nothing too unique but I guess that’s not the reason I came here, I came because I wanted a quick bite to eat. I was in the mood for Mexican food and I wanted a burrito you can expect at an authentic Mexican food establishment. I received a my carne asada burrito and used the complimentary salsas that they offer there, it was good, that familiar nostalgic taste. They gave me a moderate amount of carne asada, bell peppers and other vegetables. For a fast food place I was satisfied with my meal.
Service– Fast food in a mall setting, my order was taken swiftly and politely.
Atmosphere– It’s located in a mall, the mall is a bit aged and out dated but it’s not Chile Verdes fault.
Overall– If you want a quick bite to eat and you’re craving Mexican food this is the place to go. fast service (order taking) minimal wait time, decent tasting burrito. What is there not to like.

This place is repulsive and expensive. Its not authentic Mexican food and the service, well lets just say I get better service at Wal-​Mart

Chile Verde is the backup singer in the band. It’s the go to place for Mexican food if we’re not too keen on trying a new place. So far it has not disappointed.
No doubt the best dish is the carne asada plate. It is accompanied with rice, re-​fried beans with cheese, and tortillas. There is always a side of fresh tortilla chips included with any plate order. The carne asada is cooked well and is flavorful. It comes already shredded so not a lot of work is needed. The rice and beans taste great but the food is usually too much for me so I always feel like I’m getting my money’s worth.
Other great dishes is the shredded beef enchiladas and carnitas tacos. Most plates cost $ 7.25 — $ 7.95 so this place is great for any budget.
