This place is a «more authentic chipotle» so far I have just had the barbacoa and its so yummy, went here today for lunch with 4 other people and the line went really fast! They are also serving michiladas now which I must try next time!

It depends on what you get here! Everything is expensive to be honest. 3 tacos for over $ 8. Granted, they were pretty delicious. Last time I came, I was sorely disappointed with the burrito. It was too soft, and the meat was really gummy. Again, the tacos are solid but if you’re a college student like me on a budget — be careful. I think the prices kept them for getting a 4 star rating.

This use to be one of my favorite places and we would eat here maybe 2 – 3 times a month. In my opinion I prefer it over Chipotle. I love the carne asada bowl and my fiancé always gets the salmon burrito. Whenever we order no matter what time of day if they were out of a meat it’s always been cooked and we wait. Cook to order items like salmon have never been an issue to get either. Unfortunately we have not been back since 10÷10÷15 we received terrible service. There was a young lady Yessica who appeared to still be new and training and a guy named Dan. It was about 8pm when I stopped by and Dan was rude. I ordered a carne asada bowl and Dan said there was none but there was spicy pork. I said no thanks. My mom ordered Salmon and he again says there is none we are all out and offered the pork again. I said oh ok I understand you don’t want to cook anything new. The people behind me also wanted carne asada and again Dan told them they were out. A couple actually left because of this. My mom asked him why couldn’t he cook any and in frustration he says it would take like 15 mins she said ok I’ll wait. He had already laid the shell and rice and beans he walks away and leaves it there in covered and goes to the back with an attitude to cook. Yessica apologized and tried to help as best she could. She tossed the mess that he left out and proceeded to make fresh burritos for my mom and the salad and burrito for me. For few days I tried to call and speak to manager(Armando) but was always told he wasn’t available no matter what time I called. Once a «Daniel» got on the phone and said he was the manager. Funny thing he sounded just like«Dan» so I asked who Armando is and he said oh he is the general manager. However I never was able to reach him. I use to love El burro, not sure if management changed or what but something definitely did. Before I never had an issue the guy cooking(I’m not sure his name but I always assumed him to be manager) was pleasant and food always fresh. There was even a time where a young man was being trained accidentally put wrong rice on my burrito. We noticed at home so my fiancé returned and the guy cooking apologized and made us a fresh burrito because he noticed what happened after we left and said he see’s us come in often and he knew we would be back… Anyhow after a few calls without reaching Armando to voice my complaint about Dan I stopped trying. I decided to leave a Unilocal review now after a friend suggested I do and hopefully it gets read.

I have been a customer of EL Burros for a while and the food is top quality. 10 ten times better than Chipotle and the employees offer great customer service each time. Especially Yesenia, she always welcomes you, serves the food right, offers samples to try different plates and is one of the best BURRITOROLLERS. Make sure she rolls your burrito at the end, it will never turn into a salad or rip like the one’s at Chipotle. The prices are here are just right and they offer big portions. If you’re in the area, make sure to give this place a try. You will not regret it.

This place is very similar to Chipotle. There’s a variety of meats, sauces, and toppings that you can get in tacos, a burrito, or bowl. I had the veggie bowl with black beans and rice. I also ordered a bag of chips and medium salsa. I liked the salsa. My aunt had a chicken burrito. It was stuffed to the max and began to fall apart. She liked the seasoned, tender chicken and preferred to have a busted burrito than one with barely anything on it. The place is small, but simple and clean. Customer service wasn’t the greatest so I deducted a star.

So i walk in and the restaurant is empty. I always passed by but never have gone in. As i proceed to walk in a female and male worker were just talking to each other. Not even a hello or anything, mind you that the restaurant is dead at 6:35 on a Saturday. A simple hello or welcome can go a long way. Once you get the bad vibes just walk out.

Has the same sensibility as Chipotle but is even better. The quality of the fid is so much better to me and I don’t have to make as far as a trip for an overrated restaurant while El Burro is closer and much better.

This place is soo good. It has a chipotle feel to it because you walk into a line and they have a counter where you can build your own burritos. but wayy better ! Their food taste more authentic, and you can get a beer to go with your food. It was real yummy, my burrito was fat and i ate the whole thing

So a manager from ElBuro contacted me and apologized via email for the service I’d gotten. She asked me to call her, but I did not. Instead I waited until about a month ago before I started going back. And they have certainly gotten themselves back on track. The lunch employees are very nice and considerate. I don’t see the rude guy that helped me before there(maybe they switched his shift). I actually prefer this place to Chipotle around the corner… Thanks for the customer service training! It worked!

Hands down! Best steak tacos I’ve ever had. Meat is so nice and tender seasoned perfectly, guacamole is fresh everything is just great! Chipotle is imitation when you try this place! Plus they serve beer, who doesn’t like tacos and beer, perfect place to come after a long day of work!

It was like somebody’s grandma was cooking in the back. Ha ha! Delicious!!! I wasn’t expecting this place to taste this good. We were indecisive and just said what the heck. We had the carne asada bowl with the chipotle sauce(steak was better than Chipotle’s steak which is hard to chew), and the cochinito pibil burrito(sauce was tasty). I also liked that they had pickled onions. Had no issues with customer service. Maybe they hired new workers don’t know, but they both greeted us with smiles. We’ll be back for sure.

Been here a couple times and it tastes super good! Kinda similar to the chipotle concept. I choose the bowl every time. The chicken was seasoned good! I got the Spanish rice, black beans, picco de gallo, lettuce, guacamole, radishes and cilantro.

OMGOMGOMG !!! I been meaning to write on here because you are missing out if you haven’t tried ! WWWWAAAAYYYYY better than Chipotle :) defiantly two dumbs up !!! Funny how I see complaints about customer service, so sad that most people only seem to go out their way to say negative things rather than positive. Every time I’ve been in El burro, Yesenia, has been very friendly with myself and other customers, going out her way to let customers sample meats & never makes me feel rushed when she has served me. Sorry about my rant, I hate bully’s lol. Food is great and that’s what should be rated the food. How long of contact could you possibly have with someone making your burrito or taco to know that they are rude? lol idk my opinion love you el burro !! all your meats !! toppings !!! yummy !!! I’m hungry now lol. Five stars !!!

you dare me to say it??? YES, better than CHIPOTLE. Yes I said it, better than CHIPOTLE. Packed with TONs of flavor and cheaper too! Modern layout, quick service, BUT i must say that the workers are not a friendliest bunch, LOL. In fact, they look miserable but never rude(at least towards me). I can get over that really quick, since the food is good. I usually go for the bowl: scoop of spanish rice, scope of brown rice. I usually will pick from the Chicken, Steak Asada, or Barbacoa(all which are good /can’t go wrong). Lettuce, Cheese, RED Onions, GUAC, Chipotle Sauce, Sour Cream, and the Chipotle MAYO sauce… OHHHH yah. Spend about $ 7, check in for a free drink :)
