Ah, where to begin… I found this amazing place on Unilocal.Thanks to all the fellow reviewers I came in to have some uniform pants fixed. I had them altered at a separate place which did a terrible job… I came in with high expectations due to the reviews and was not disappointed in any way. The end result surpassed my expectations. Baby is amazing, she had me try them on and asked what we were doing. With little explanation she knew what we were doing and delivered. They fit amazing and will be back to have some non work clothing altered. Don’t hesitate, give them a try!

I work in Pasadena and live in Rolling Hills. I don’t mind driving to Louie’s Cleaners for my dry cleaning and alterations. They are worth it. Excellent customer service and very trustworthy employees. They go above and beyond to make sure customers are satisfied with the work. Had a long formal dress altered and they did a fantastic job! Turn around service was fast, received the dress back in less than a week. As always, customer service was excellent! We also drop off our dry cleaning here and it too turns out wonderful. We are so glad to have found Louie’s on Unilocal

I came here to get a suit jacket tailored. I needed the sleeves shortened by a few inches; when I arrived they recommended also bringing in the waist.
This store is situated in a small plaza of stores and is conveniently located on the corner of an intersection. The parking lot is small, but had a few spots open both times I came here. Inside, there is a dry cleaning side and an alteration side. On the alteration side, there are some changing rooms in case you have to put on your outfit for the fitting. The staff are friendly.
I paid $ 40 for all of my alterations ($ 15 to shorten the sleeves and $ 25 to take in the waist). Because I told them I was in no rush, it took a couple of days to get back my suit top. The quality of the alterations was very good. My only letdown was that the tapering on the waist alteration was not perfectly flush — still that is a tough part to tailor and I do not know if another tailor could have done as well for that price.
Overall, I am happy I followed the Unilocal crowd to this alteration store. My suit definitely fits a lot better after going here!

Lovely service! I dropped off a black gown 2 days before my event and never have I been so impressed with the alteration service! I’ve also been here once before for my medical scrub uniforms and it was awesome! Very fast and efficient service. Both times the alteration lady finished my clothes on time and was never late. Prices are not too bad, although she did charge me more than how much the dress cost, but she did do a superb job. Thanks guys!

Do not throw away your old boot cut pants people! Come here and get personally fitted Louie will hook you up! She caters to your needs and make sure your looking great I have already brought 4 pants and they look like some old school jnco jeans and she turned them into some express skinny fit type style. Save some money buy name brand stuff at Ross or marshalls and go to her for your tapering needs

my mom and I go here for all of our repairs and dry cleaning services because Baby and her staff always do such a great job and if they make any kind of mistake, they’ll fix it for free! just to make sure their costumers leave happy. the general atmosphere is always very friendly when I come in, I feel like Baby knows all of her customers by name! she also always gives you a fair price for all repairs and alterations and completes each job masterfully and punctually. I’ll be coming back here again and again.

I live in Hermosa Beach but have been going to Louies cleaners for years. I would drive all the way from Cypress at one point to get my pants hemmed. Auntie Baby altered so many of my bridesmaids dresses for weddings and also altered my wedding dress. She gave me a great deal to preserve my wedding dress and boxed it nicely for me to store away in my closet.

Quality work, reasonable prices. Hemmed my jeans and shortened two of my polo shirts. The shirts had splits on the sides that other tailors would simply tell me they could not do. My other (now former) tailor would charge a lot more, too! At Louies, they asked if I wanted the the same splits on the shirts and they did an excellent job. They shortened my polo shirts perfectly and the ends looked exactly like they did originally.

They have such awesome service. I recently got married and wasn’t sure what to do with my wedding dress. One of my friends recommended me to this place and told me to have them reserve my dress. Since the loss of my previous dry cleaner, I had to find another option. Since moving I heard about this place and HOT DAMN was it the right choice. I brought in my suit to be altered to my dimensions. I also had my favorite hoodie taken in to be fixed at the pocket. The price was decent and worth the wait since i didn’t need them right away. I will go back and perhaps I can expect a dry cleaning job to be quick as the ladies there work really hard.
On a side note, I left my hanger there and got it back. I also left my drink there and still found it sitting where i left it. Long story short: they really take care of your stuff. LOL!

I’ve brought in suits, shirts, jackets, sweaters, pants, and jeans. They’ve all been returned to me in the same condition: clean, soft, and undamaged.
The staff is friendly, quick, and professional.
Having your clothes cleaned by Louie’s is cake. You give them your phone number in order to bill your account (I think all they need are a name and phone number to create an account, if you’re new), they go through the clothes you have, they ask you when you want them ready, they give you a ticket/​receipt, then you’re out. They don’t sell you anything extra. They don’t have any promotion or deals ’cause their prices are cheap every day.
Picking up your clothes is just as easy: you hand them your ticket/​receipt, they get your clothes, then you’re off. Don’t worry if you forgot or lost your receipt. Just give them your phone number.
With the type of clothes I bring in, they can have it ready by their next business day. I’m not so sure how quickly they can clean other types of clothes. They’re open Monday through Saturday. So, if you need something cleaned by Sunday, you should bring it in Friday for next day pickup.
I’ve brought in clothes to other cleaners for convenience’s sake, but I’ve never been satisfied ’cause I get them back super stiff. I don’t know if Louie’s doesn’t use starch or uses less of it, but I definitely prefer Louie’s process over others.
The parking spaces are a little narrow so be prepared to slither out your car door if the parking lot is full.
