How are you guys getting a recent review on a shop that’s already closed? I’m trying to get my stereo fixed in my car and I drive to the location to find out its out of business. My warranty is basically useless now.

Jus wanted to say thanks to the homie nick for putting me up on game! I bought the terminater mtx and both subs blew out when zack is the one that told me I got a good set up… I was mad cuz I had to go there about 5 times cuz my subs kept on going out until they eventually blew out but thanks to Dave and Alex they were a man of there word when they said I got life time warranty and they hooked me up with two alpine 12inch subs that sound great for the moment… Hopefully I don’t have the same problems I had with the mtx…

I had been shopping around for car alarms for too long only to find most businesses wanted to rip me off. Then i called AJ. He hooked me up, good job at reasonable prices with excellent customer services. These guys are the best

Duuuuuuude! AJ is the man! I took in my civic to get some new kicker speakers, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. As soon as I walked in this dude AJ knew what’s up, he pulled the kickers showed me that they were legit, explained to me some of the details about it, and best of all he gave me a price I couldn’t refuse! He then went above and beyond and offered me some other good speakers that were up for sale. Normally people at some other stereo places will just sell u it and not give a fuck but this dude was crazy attentive! he is enthusiastic and he truly cares that You get the best sound for your car! Good products, good price, and the best customer service.

Came here through a referral from a friend to upgrade my headlights to HID. Ask for A.J. to help you, he was very enthusiastic and really took the time to answer all of my questions, if not more. He’s willing to work with you in terms of pricing, just be reasonable and you should be able to get a decent deal. In my case, the 35W bulbs he quoted me on the phone were out of stock when I came in, so he upgraded to the 50W at no additional charge — that was very nice. Overall I think I got a great deal, but even in the rare chance that I didn’t, the customer service here (AJ to be specific) was well worth the extra cost compared to other places
I was in and out in less than 30 mins. The job looks well done. If the headlights hold up in long term, which I have no reason to doubt that they won’t, I’ll be back here to upgrade the stereo system as well. Highly recommended!

Now, the only suggestion I wouldn’t recommend you to get those Hertz speakers, I really dislike them. They only sound good almost at a fixed volume point in my car anywhere from 22 to 31 the highest.
So, I spent nearly fourteen hundred dollars on ESK 165 Herts component speakers, ECS690 Hertz coaxial, HCP4 Hertz Amp, and TI212 Phonix Gold Sub, an equalizer, and with other installation kits and costs of installing it.
I strongly suggest you to stay away from Hertz component and co-​axial speakers, I really dislike how they sound. They are really awful, they just play loud, but not as clear or good. It does not sound good. They sound loud, not as clean. I had a pair of $ 200 m class Memphis speaker in the front, with nothing else. Those Memphis sounded AMAZZZING. since the Memphis was suppose to go in the back, Alex called me when I was home to tell that they wouldn’t fit and that he others others in speaker in stock to put in. But, I do like is the Phenix Gold subwoofer. But tends to lose power after about fifteen minutes of playing music.
I honestly don’t like listening to my system anymore. In addition, the system loses power cause it doesn’t seem to play at the same sound level after ten minutes later after playing it.
If you’re just buying one thing, such as a speaker, they do appear to give good discounts. But, one thing I experienced not from Alex, but from Tareq, I think that’s what his name is that he tend tell me was to make my system sound more better or this good, I would need this and that. Just don’t get sucked into that. Buy what you have planned,
The cashier asked an individual to my left at the store who paid his fees, if he could sign in on google to follow the business, and the customer did as he asked. The cashier also asked him if he could give the business a review. He also did that, rating the business five stars while I was to the side of him. I just think people cannot be honest, giving an honest review while the cashier is watching over him, I believe is name was Tareq. I was also asked by the cashier, but I only insisted to follow this business. Later, when I got home, I unfollowed the business.
By the way, this place has ads all over CRAGSLISTS.

I just left this facility with a brand new stereo system. Dave was very helpful and gave me a great deal. If u want it done correctly leave it up to this guys! Pretty busy on the weekends so I suggest you schedule something. Very honest they did not try to push me into buying anything else. Great service good quality

I had a mangled mess situation with my sound system, t. v’s and how it was installed from a previous installer, I came here and Dave has been a delight to work with. Very friendly, professional and gave good advice on what I needed. Gave good pricing. The job took a while but was completed the right way and SOUNDS GREAT! Also tented my windows and detailed my suburban. I didn’t have a way home and even provided car service home! I’m so satisfied I am having my other vehicles worked on here as well! Tent on the windows on my other car was so crappy they removed and redid! I also got an alarm put on another car and it was done quickly also. Communicated everything and timing along the way. I recommend them highly! See Dave!

Completely unprofessional! I called after I noticed that they had drilled into a cover of my dashboard after installing an alarm and he went off on me. He started cussing at me and saying that I was trying to come up on them.
I explained to him that I had just replaced my entire dash and he goes on to accuse me of wanting to again, «come up on them». I got an alarm installed on an old civic. A civic that I’m building for nostalgic reasons! He accused me of being «shady» and that I would never be able to afford a car that they typically work on.
I’m a small business owner. I have no need to be «coming up» on a business like this. I just wanted them to see that they did a horrible job. Save yourself some time and go to a higher end shop.

I purchased 22″ rims for my camaro here. Dave helped me find the rims that matched my car perfectly. They have a great and friendly staff! I would recommend this place to get anything done for your vehicle.

Called Alex early this week to get a price on some headrest screens installed on my truck. He quoted me a price over the phone for a lot less than anywhere in the area so I made the drive out there. When I arrived he did not have the screens that he gave me a quote for but had a better quality screen of the same size. He honored the quote that he gave me over the phone.
This is an honest shop which is hard to find (especially for car audio).The prices can’t be beat and the install was professional. They take really good care of you especially if you Unilocal

This is a great ace to get your car hooked up with speakers, ipod hookups, blue tooth hook up what ever! The customer service is great! They care about their work and their customers!!!

Man they really gave me a great deal! Alex helped me out finding the right DVD touchscreen for my ride! They have great prices and they match any price or beat any price! He also hooked me up with a viper alarm to go along with the touchscreen! The thing I really liked about the shop is they are down to earth and they all helped out! None of the sales reps treat you like a customer they treat you like family and give me the Best Service! High-​quality is a understatement for the work that they do! Awesome Job!!! I’m a fairly easy going guy. A lot of businesses have always earned my respect, my patronage and my eventual return.
Planet Motorsports has been the only business that has earned my hate.
I have an ignition lock installed in my car. On April 17^th, 2015, I came in to do a routine calibration check-​up for my breathalyzer. Unfortunately, I found out the hard way that whoever did the calibration failed to update my unit with the next check up date: I was locked out of my car a week later. On April 24^th, the unit refused to let me used my car until I brought it in for «service» — despite the damn fact that I already did.
This was at 2 AM, when I got off work. I work late nights in Century City and for those of you who don’t know, that’s over 40 miles away from this place.
Also, something I learned: car shops don’t open until 10 AM. Most especially these guys.
This set into motion a nightmare that’s not even worth getting into. But to make a long story short: my Friday was spent sleep-​deprived, running around Los Angeles looking for a car shop that could help, being on the phone with a ignition lock technician for much longer than I wanted, having said technician confirm my suspicions and updating my breathalyzer (that came at no cost, luckily) and now I have a $ 63 parking citation that I have to convince the LA Parking Violations Bureau to waive because of situation that was completely out of my control i.e. Planet Motorsports negligence.
So, thank you Planet Motorsports. For a terrible Friday, and this highly unnecessary path down Los Angeles’s notorious parking bureaucracy. ‘Cause you know THAT’s going to be a fun and easy fight to deal with.

All the guys that work here are really knowledgeable and friendly. The prices are very reasonable and they don’t pressure you to spend outside of your budget.
They have some very comfy couches inside and a TV to watch while you’re waiting for services.

Excellent service here, hands down the best honest and knowledgeable guys in the market I have gone to other places to get my tents and stereo done but never again I have found a place that will give me honest and the high quality service I came here to get my tents redone and to install new headlights and these guys did much more than I had asks them and they did it out of kindness of their hearts and with a good business mentality of taking care of the customers.
I had also asked them to check my rear speakers for me because I thought that they had gone out after assisting, David told me that it was a connection problem and fix the issue for me without the added labor fee.
What I like about them the didnt try and try to hustle me into buying anything unlike other places.
My point is that these guys are trustworthly and will help you more like a friend that business owners that just want to profit off of you as much as they can and sell you stuff that you don’t need.
