I don’t see what everyone is complaining about unless I came on a good day. My food was hot and fresh and everything was delicious. They did not charge me for extra sauce either. The man who took my order did not have a name badge or I would salute him here! But no bad experience at all EXCEPT they have no restroom here so I had to walk to cvs. No negative words here. ;)

They are so stingy with everything, sauces, ketchup, etc. Twice I called in my order to save time, it made no difference, they don’t prepare it until I get there and pay… Just say you dont take call in orders! As many others have mentioned they are not very friendly. I doubt I will ever be back here.

I love chickens, especially Popeye’s but the service is bad to the highest degree. I asked for two spicy(that would be 4pcs) then Celeste(the one in charge) charged me 4. Didn’t know I paid more than what I ordered and I ended up eating 8 pcs. of chickens.

A pretty sorry place. Pros: the biscuits were pretty good. Cons: Driest chicken I’ve had in ages. At least they have a nice sign on the window saying that it is marinated for 12 hours. I think not. Instead of increasing more business by improving the food, the owner has cut costs by not giving out to-go boxes or sufficient napkins, and reducing serving sizes. Until you see a sign that says, «Under New Management», go elsewhere.

One of the cleanest and neatest popeyes I’ve ever been to. I grew up in Los Angeles near king and western and I’ve been to almost all the popeyes in that area(King/western, Jefferson/La Brea, La Brea/Centinela) and they’re all tacky this one is real clean, don’t have to worry about no one begging for money outside like all the others and the workers were friendly

I no longer eat here that often since I only get the shrimp. I can’t believe this location is still in business. Employees have always been rude with nasty attitudes. They cat slow, don’t seem to comprehend well, and I’ve even seen a cashier fussing with the cook and with other customers. Wtf?! If I hadn’t paid for my shrimp already, I would’ve walked out! I love Popeyes side dishes. I devour the mashed potatoes and green beans. Biscuits are super flaky and buttery. But… this location should be condemned for several reasons. Smh

So gross! Don’t go here. The chicken is dry/cold and the person who took my order wasn’t friendly or helpful. I don’t spend my money where I’m not treated well.

Ive been a long time Popeye fan, but this location is TERRIBLETOTHEMAX! The first time ever in ANY restaurant that not only the cashier is very unfriendly, they LIMIT the ketchups for us customer. I Bought 10pcs chicken and they only give about 8 sachets of ketchups, THATSIT! Can not for more, owner regulation! Geesh, its just ketchups! CHEAPOWNER! well congrats for driving away your customer! We will see how long you will last for keeping it cheap.

Popeyes is part of my preferred troika for getting fried chicken which includes KFC and Jollibee all of which are in close proximity to each other and each has its own take on fried chicken. Popeyes is the Southern style which is supposed to be spicy but Popeyes concentrates more on flavor rather than the heat level, which when done right is pretty good. Unfortunately my experience with this particular location of Popeyes has not been good and I’ve left unhappy almost all the time. This location completely lacks demand management. It has a large amount of fried chicken sitting around getting soggy on the outside and dry on the inside(this should probably be their advertising tag line). The person behind the counter seems to be extremely pushy and gives attitude to answer even a few basic questions so their entire philosophy seems to be to quickly push people out the door with poor product and service. I don’t like their sides so I generally limit myself to their fried chicken. I generally get the deal that they have put up on their window for 5 pieces of dark meat for $ 4.99(this is not on the inside menu board). As mentioned earlier if you are luck to get a fresh batch it is pretty good else not worth it. They used to have an awesome deal on Tuesday’s namely a leg and thigh for 99c but now that’s increased by 50% so its still a good deal but not a great one. I prefer the Popeyes location on Sepulveda and Vermont where the quality is much better but as this location is closer to home I end up coming here once in a while which will also stop if they don’t get their act together soon.

They have cockroaches everywhere. They know it too. Point them out the employees and they just go «hmmm, ignore them and they will go away».

We had excellent customer service here. I came later in the evening a couple of days ago for dinner. The only thing I didn’t like was how we were given cold pieces of the chicken. The spicy chicken was hot because it had just come out of the fryer. I noticed that the coleslaw had dill pickle, a nice twist. P. S. Don’t forget to ask for the cajun sparkle if you like extra flavor.

Never have I witnessed someone get denied a cup of ice for water, until I came to this location. An older gentlemen was ordering food for him and his mother when he asked for a cup of ice, and the employee by the name of Celeste said that they didnt have any water cups, and that the cups had to be purchased. then the older gentlemen said that it was just water for his mother who was thirsty due to the incredibly hot weather. The cashier’s response was«its not my problem»… I have never seen so much disrespect towards someone in my life. Cashier had no courtesy what so ever.

Oh this place… Only if there was a Zero or negative star. I used to work in the same shopping area. I stopped by every so often. It is family owned and operated. I always experienced horrible customer service. The dude behind the counter working the register is very rude. Not friendly and rude. One occasion, after the order I asked for a plastic bag. He refused to give me one, claiming that my food is already in the paper bag and I don’t need a plastic bag. I insisted and he still refused. I left the store and called the corporate office(family own but it’s a franchise), they asked me a bunch of questions including how much I spend each week on their food. … Never got a call back from the corporate office. … Never went to this place again.

It’s 9:40pm and they close at 10:00pm but the cashier just locked the doors and put the closed sign up at 9:32pm. When we walked in there was no hello or welcome to Popeyes only«just to let you know we only have mild chicken». Then as we orders a family meal we were told they didn’t have any wings. And she asked If we wanted the chicken mild or spicy. What was the point to ask if you only have mild chicken. The worked look miserable and they have mariachi music playing while they’re still open. 4 thumbs down 2 from me and 2 from my sister in law.

Not very often do I eat Fried Chicken. We are very limited with lunch places near where I work. There are two Popeyes, one on Sepulveda and this one on Carson. I prefer this Carson establishment and will go a bit out of my way to eat here when I crave spicy chicken. The folks who run this establishment are friendly, the store is much cleaner and they have an incredible Tuesday & Thursday deal for two pieces of dark meat chicken for $ 1.29. I add a biscuit and its $ 2.33. Try these guys out. I went in today and the place was getting busy at 11:15. Plus they are for three weeks debuting chicken and waffles. need to try those next week!
