Some years ago a close family friend once told Lou Ann that she should decorate cakes for a living. At the time, little did she know that she would decorate cakes for the next 20 years. In 1993 she purchased the Bakery on the Courthouse Square in her home town of Carthage MS. The Bakery has become the meeting place on the square for young and old alike. From birthday cakes to lunch and breakfast people from across the state have come to love the food at The Bakery and Café.
