Bless This Mess Home Cleaning

I put my house on the market and had Falon Gates (the founder) and her team come to clean the house. She was super friendly, and so was the rest of the team. They were very professional and very thorough. They scrubbed tiles on my bathroom floor, wiped baseboards down, and dusted ceiling fans in all of the bedrooms. I was pretty happy with the end result for $ 200 and everything was immaculate. This experience was a four-​star experience.
Unfortunately, my second experience with them one month later could not have been more different. I wanted a basic cleaning of my empty house before the house closing the next day. They were supposed to arrive at 9:30 am. Well… the cleaning crew did not show up until 11:45. Falon asked me for my address at about 9:30 when they were supposed to be at my house. I didn’t hear anything more, and I had pretty much given up hope that they were coming.
I popped over to my house, and one staff member was smoking in my backyard almost as soon as they’d arrived. Also, by 12:20 they were «finished.» They cleaned the floors, but I’m unsure what else they cleaned — I touched one part of the kitchen counter where an envelope had been sitting, and it was still dusty since it obviously hadn’t been wiped down. Windowsills were still dusty, too. Bathroom sinks had been cursorily cleaned and were not sparkling like they had been the first time.
While they were awaiting payment, one staff member (not sure if it was the same or different one) was smoking by their car on my property. When they left, I was $ 100 down (plus childcare fees that I hadn’t needed since my babysitter had had to leave just before they arrived). The experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth so the second experience deserved 2 stars.
Not sure the reasons for the inconsistent service. I also feel like I gave Falon the opportunity to explain herself, but she did not apologize at all, not even for staff showing up late.

I work in property management and need people I can trust in other people’s homes. I’ve met with Falon Gates, and trust her. I recommend her for your home cleaning needs.
