Business Owner

Mark Lukens is the owner of Nutrishop Cary. He has been interested in sports nutrition since he was a basketball player in high school. Mark went to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and graduated in 2008 with a BS in Nutrition with a minor in Public Health. After graduating, Mark served in the Peace Corps. in Togo, West Africa. In Togo, Mark was a community health volunteer engaging in projects involving nutrition, HIV/​AIDS awareness, and anti-​malaria campaigns. He returned to the United States and worked for GNC for two years. After two years, Mark saw a void in the industry for research based nutrition and supplement advice. His decision to take over Nutrishop Cary was an easy one because of his respect for the ingredients and manufacturing quality that go into each of Nutrishop’s exclusive products.
