Yes the wait time at this store is sometimes long but they can’t help it if they’re busy, so it’s understandable. But what happens after the fact, in my opinion, is poor customer service. I won’t bore you with the details about what happened beforehand but I went to this specific store to return an iPhone that was mistakenly sent to me. Two days prior, I bought an iPhone on the Verizon website but I realized immediately after that I accidentally ordered the wrong phone. I then proceeded to call customer service to cancel the order and they told me that I called early enough since it hasn’t been fully processed in their system. I called customer service twice that same day to make sure my cancellation went through and on both times they confirmed to me that it said that it’s cancelled in the system.
However, two days later, I still received the phone. I figured that mistakes happen so I called customer service again. She was surprised that it happened because it still says that my order is cancelled in her system. The woman on the phone was very nice, she apologized for the inconvenience cause and recommended that I return it to a corporate store so I can get my refund.
I told all of that to the staff at this Verizon store. He looked at all of the things that came in the box, receipts and an unopened iPhone box etc. Went to talk to someone who I’m assuming is the manager, came back and said if I knew anything about a «restocking fee». I didn’t really say much, I was taken aback since customer service said that I would get a full refund and I did not want to cause a scene at a store. I reiterated that it was their company who told me that my order was cancelled, twice, and that they should not have sent me that phone in the first place. He just looked at me and said something in the lines of, well it left the warehouse so we have to charge a restocking fee.
He didn’t offer any suggestions, any reasoning besides «It left the warehouse, sorry.» Maybe he just didn’t care because he probably won’t get any commission out his session with me. Basically what he told me was that there’s nothing I can do to get a full refund. If I want to return it I will have to pay a $ 35 restocking fee for a $ 1 phone (I’m not joking, it was literally a dollar with a 2 year contract). I reluctantly agreed.
When I got home I immediately called customer service and explained to him my situation. Without hesitation, he said that he could refund that $ 35 to me because the mistake was on Verizon and that he would look into the issue. It was that easy. This, Verizon, is what good customer service looks like. Why the staff at the store wouldn’t even bat an eye to help is beyond me.
TL;DR: Long wait times, that’s understandable. But customer service is crap if you’re not purchasing anything from them.

We went to the Verizon store to upgrade to the iPhone 6s. They store was very busy, but we were attended to within 5 minutes. The Verizon rep was extremely helpful in setting us up with our new data plan and switching over numbers. The process of getting our numbers moved over was more complicated than we had anticipated, but the rep was very helpful and made process not as painstaking as it could’ve been.
The overall costumer service was really good and they made it very clear what we getting with our phone plan and not trying surprise us with any hidden fees. My only complaint would be that they use Verizon hotspots instead of wifi at the store so cellular service can be slow on s busy day when everyone is trying to connect to it.

Very poor customer service. I walked in the door twice and had to leave without service.

I went with my friend last night and they took very good care of him. The store and staff is wonderful. I highly recommend going here if you are looking to switch or just want accessories for you device. Super customer service!

Verizon has one of the best coverage service out there, but customer service needs to improve a lot! They are friendly and all that but they are super slow, they are ALWAYS short in staff. My third time here and always wait time average is over an hour and half. I came in the morning as soon as they open to avoid this but still!! Over the phone they said they dnt have all the promotions stores have. But when u come here u wait so long that u even want to leave before they assist u. In few words, really bad managing.

I love Verizon’s service! They are an excellent company and have excellent coverage. As an avid skier I like having a cellphone that works in the Sierra Nevada and never loses coverage. It provides piece of mind. However, this store in particular is a bit of a let down. They hire people who have no clue what they are doing and everything takes forever. There is always a long line for tech support and because their employees work off of commission they urge you for any problem to ‘upgrade upgrade upgrade!’. Beware.

See Matthew if you want the best customer Service, he is very informed, knowledgeable and will lead u into the right direction, today my wife went there and had an employee named Terrilyn that wanted to sell her items that she already had for that would work with her replacement phone that my wife was told they dont carry anymore, but the same was placed to sell in the store with all the other phones. I then had to go to the manager and advise him of the advertising law and he was able to find 3 phones of the kind we were looking for and stated it would be here by Wednesday. This lady only wanted to sell all kinds of items but very poor customer serivce. The manager was great and again I delt with Matthew earlier this day and he was a professional.

Everyone at this store is very friendly and helpful. I am new to Verizon and have had no complaints and higher than expected service.

First off, I should say this review is not for a specific store, but for a Verizon Prepaid phone that I just recently purchased and set up for a friend. For $ 14.88, I purchased a phone from Walmart (LG Revere). For $ 50 ($ 53.38 with taxes) I added an unlimited talk, text, and web plan which is good for 30 days. You can set the phone up to store credit card info and auto renew each month, or call in and make a payment. After using the phone for several days, I am completely sold on it. Call/​sound quality is excellent… better than my iphone. It is so quiet, at times I have said, «are you there?» because I’ve thought the call has dropped. The phone has a very simple interface. It doesn’t have the full qwerty keyboard, but still would allow for simple texting. Battery life seems very good (better than my iphone). There is no contract. There are also other calling plans available. If someone is looking for a simple phone, I think this one would be hard to beat.

I don’t have a bad thing to say about this store and I was SO astounded this past weekend with the speed with which I was helped… that I just had to review!
In October, I bought my iPhone 4 here on the day the 4S came out. I’m no fool — I waited for the price of the last version to drop, but was totally unaware that the day I was available to upgrade was the same as the release of the brandy-​new one. I walked in and it was mini-​chaos. I put my name on the list to be helped and waited probably 20 minutes. The girl I worked with was clearly exhausted and frazzled from a whole day of dealing with crazies, but I already knew exactly what I wanted and we had a very smooth transition.
After a few weeks of having my phone, people were complaining that they couldn’t get through to my voicemail. Incoming calls would receive an automated message asking for a 10 digit password to get into the mailbox. I did my own troubleshooting and failed. I went into this same store, stated my problem and the guy pushed a few buttons and problem solved! Apparently the network sometimes causes the voicemail to freak out (unfortunate, but an easy fix — I swear). I learned that you just call *73 and it fixes itself. I really expected to have to sit around and wait for a lengthy answer with a lot of steps. I was (very literally) barely inside the door and barely there 2 minutes before I was on my way with a functioning voicemail box.

I hate these stores. You go in, you wait, you wait, you browse, you wait, and then you have the person either (1) basically tell you you’re an idiot because somehow you put your phone in airplane mode or (2) tell you that your phone is deadskee and you have to wait five whole days for them to ship you a new one. Like people can actually live without cell phones. Pshaw.
This, my peoples, is not one of those stores. The door was actually opened for me by a guy awaiting my entrance. He took my name and my issue and within one minute, I was addressed by a second staff member. Turned out my phone needed to be replaced. The service took a while, since the store was fairly busy, but it was more than tolerable.
I was sad that I couldn’t steal a family member’s upgrade to snag the new iPhone (merry chrismukkah to me?), but the woman hooked me up with a replacement Droid Incredible, no fees attached. Not so bad at all. And luckily, my old phone still pretty much functions (sans texting) to get me through these dire times.
