The food is good but the service is unreal! I placed a to go order at 7:40pm, on a weekday. I arrived at the restaurant at 8:00pm. There were maybe 5 tables occupied including the bar. 8:05 a girl asked about my order and I didn’t see her until 8:20 when I had to go to the back«kitchen window“and wait for someone to come out. My server came to me and said«I’m sorry I got distracted with customers». I said I called in an order because I don’t have time to dine in, not to wait 20 mins In the store(on top of the 20 mins I gave them to make the order). I waited another 10 mins and walked out with my food at 8:30pm. I have a feeling the food was not ready or got messed up or something? All they had to do was say they were sorry about a mix up or comp the meal if they really cared. They instead ignored everything. There is NOREASONFOR A TOGOORDERPLACEDAT7:20SHOULDOFTAKEN50MINSTOBEREADYESPECIALLYWHENTHEREISONLY5TABLESFILLEDINTHEENTIRERESTAURANT! No wonder there was only 5 tables filled!!!

Visited for lunch after a soccer game. Our party of 3 ordered tacos and fajitas. Tacos came out and when we asked for the fajitas they discovered that they weren’t entered due to a computer glitch. They were nice and fixed it quickly. Delicious food, friendly wait staff, and great service.

They have the best margaritas in Casper. The food isn’t bad. Their chips and salsa is good.

The food was ok. Just a little more expense than Taco Bell. But the service is the problem. Upon arrival I was greeted by two nice young ladies. I was asked if I wanted to sit in the cantina side or the family side. I chose the cantina side. I picked a spot at the bar. Once I sat down I was treated to a conversation by the wait staff about somebody getting out of jail. That’s fine if that’s your reality but a customer shouldn’t have to hear it. Then I was witnessed to a manager being rude to an employee, now it might have been a joke between them but to an random customer I was taken aback by it. The one really shining light was the bartender. She was the hardest working person in the whole place. She was Teaching somebody how to bartender as well as serving the customers at the bar. And in her spare time(which she didn’t have) every employee was asking her questions as she ran around. It seemed more like a hangout for the employees more than a restaurant

Dined there with my family last night. The restaurant was basically empty but the speed from the kitchen was slow. Food was ok but my wife’s soup was just warm along with all of the sides, i.e., rice and beans. Fairly certain all the dinners were served on cold plates which didn’t help didn’t help the food temp.

On The Boarder of awful service and worst service ever. Went in at 7pm on a Saturday and it was virtually deserted, except for the staff. Tall tale sign that I should not have given this establishment the benefit of the doubt even after reading some«red flag» reviews. My review would be way too long if I listed everything that went wrong. Simple tasks were failed miserably. The issues I noticed would probably not have been seen in a restaurant run by elementary students. I honestly am not one to complain since I know how hard it can be to make sure an adequate level of service is maintained. The majority of the time people are fine with a slightly below average meal. However when people opt to go to a restaurant for a meal they do so because those establishments are in business to service the customers dinning experience. The reason restaurants exist is because people are willing pay more for a meal where someone takes care of you as opposed to taking the time to cook for themselves. I have never been somewhere where not a single employee understands that fact. I read some reviews where meals were completely compted. I wish I had the opportunity to discuss the same type of compensation. Food wasn’t a huge issue but I would have rather paid double what I did here and ordered a bag of peanuts that was served by someone who halfway cared about their surroundings. On The Boarder of being boarded up, that is my prediction.

Mediocre meal, sour cream sauce too thin and bland; too much lime in the guacamole. Medium warm food, not hot. Otherwise ok. Very nice and competent waitress.

I really hate to do 1 star. The only reason for the 2 stars is that management«comped» my meal. Why you ask? Well I ordered the southwest chicken tacos and it took about 10 minutes(first clue) for our food to arrive. It’s was stone cold. Terrible. I had the waitress in the restaurant stick her fingers in my lunch to show her how cold it was. She was very sorry and had it replaced. The food was ok… not good. My boyfriend had the shredded beef tacos and he put up with the«luke warm» food. My boyfriend is in the oil and gas industry so he comes to Casper several times a month. He and I will not return. Felt sorry for our waitress she seemed clueless. We always tip well because you never know if she had an «off» night. Restaurant was not very clean. Floors had food on them. As we walked out we passed the hostess that sat us and she just walked right by us… Not even a smile. Poor customer service and bad food No wonder why the bad reviews.

Went there for lunch – Actually never got to try the food – Fail at every turn – Embarrassment to the F&B industry – Here’s what happened: First off, there were perhaps 2 other tables seated in the whole place. The menu I got had cheese or guacamole or beans or something on it that made a mess on my hand. I waved the hostess back over and showed her – specifically asking for an extra napkin to wipe off my goo-covered hand with. She brought me another menu – no extra napkin. Reviewing the menu, I asked the waitress for an extra minute to decide – she gave me nearly 15 minutes before returning to take my order – never looking even once in my direction that whole time. Finally, I ordered the grilled fish tacos – a runner brought me the Dos XX tacos – I could tell right away because they have flour tortillas which I hate on fish tacos – which were also at about room temperature – yuck. I told the runner my order was wrong. He took the plate and said he’d fix it in «just a minute». 10 minutes later, still nothing, but I was now out of time to be able to eat my meal, pay the tab and return to work on time. I got up and walked out – telling the runner and my waitress who were standing at the bar having a conversation to cancel my order because I was now out of time to eat. No apology, no surprise, from either of them – just a blasé’ «ok» as they returned to their conversation. On The Border, you failed in every way today – at every turn. Have you ever trained any of your staff in anything? Btw, this was not my first failed experience with this place – it was so bad last time I hadn’t returned for nearly a year and a half or so. I complained back then – doesn’t appear anything has changed. Judging by how poorly they do in the front of the house where you can see what they are doing, it frightens me to imagine what their hygiene & sanitation practices might be like in the back where you can’t see. I think I was likely lucky my I wasn’t able to eat any of their food. I will never return. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Went in for lunch on a Tuesday & only one other table had patrons. We were handed menus & silverware & told to seat ourselves. Our waiter was prompt in terms of taking our order & bringing our drinks. Everything good to say ends here. A runner brought our food out about 20 minutes later. One bite into our food the waiter asked if our food was ok and was never to be seen again. The food was mediocre at best & no one checked to see if we wanted a refill. Forty minutes later, I went to the bar to to ask for our check & to-go box. The bartender began to tell me he wasn’t our server till I cut him off & informed him I hadn’t seen ours for 40 min. Our waiter showed up 5 minutes later with check & box apologizing that he was busy ‘training’. The other table left 20 minutes earlier, we were the only ones in the building & I cannot accept this poor of service for any reason. I normally tip 50%(I used to manage clubs/restaurants) — this guy begrudgingly got 10%.

I hope not to be roped back into going here if I have to go back to Casper. The food doesn’t impress me, especially for the cost. The only stand-out factor was a server that was attentive and accurate, a rarity in Wyoming. Although, I think we did startle her by paying the check by leaving cash on the table, if the«Where are they going?!» was from her as we left.

Limited options in the area so we settled on this chain restaurant. The only reason I’m giving two-stars is because we had a very sweet and friendly waitress. The food wasn’t good. Proof = went to dinner with three hungry teenage boys, all 6′ 5″ and above. Not a single one finished the meal. These guys aren’t foodies… they eat(almost) anything! One of my dining companions liked the brisket enchilada. I can’t comment because I didn’t taste that. My cheese and onion enchilada was terrible. Do they use Velveeta? It’s definitely not a cheese I’m accustomed to eating. Bleh. The reality is I probably won’t find myself back in Casper but if I do, I will have to skip this place.

Never carry out from this joint… It’s never correct and the last time I made the mistake of carrying out, I waited 30 minutes for a cold, incorrect order. All the while I was being told that the hostess would be right with me by another staff member. He seriously told me this four times, even though he was fully capable of getting my order. Not only did the hostess tell me that he was capable of helping, she also gave me food that had been sitting at the hostess station for 40 minutes or so. The food is half decent in the restaurant, but it’s not worth the hassle. There are other, more authentic mexican restaurants in town that are more worth the money.

Not a lot of options in the immediate area after 9pm on a Tuesday. We just needed sustenance. And, frankly, Samson’s next door scared us off with the blaring music. Place was fairly empty. Staff was friendly. Food wasn’t bad for what it is. Also, I ordered a grande margarita(roughly the size of my head). Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Yikes. Server seemed terrified of people, got our drinks wrong and appetizer wrong, when we notified the server who brought it out(who was not our original server) we got attitude and instead of correcting the problem she left the dish at the table and said she’d grab our server. Music is awful, as well. We left without food and will not be back. We have never felt so uncomfortable or unwelcome in a restaurant before.

The food was good but way over-priced for what you get. I also ended up with a newbie waiter who did not visit the table enough.

I had high hopes for this place, we were in town for a meeting and saw this place in passing. The building and décor are very nice. The chips and salsa were pretty good, but everything was kind of a disappointment after that. The service started off shaky, but maybe because we decided to sit in the bar. I had the Mahi Mahi with rice(which was green?) corn and cornbread. Really didn’t like anything on my plate, at all. I guess I made another mistake of ordering fish — in Decemeber — in Wyoming. Should have given myself more time to look at the menu. The way they cooked it is one reason it tasted funny, not so good runny sauce on top. Rice was no good. Hubby’s dinner wasn’t much better. He had pick 4 platter type deal. Tortilla soup was really scary. The food basically tasted as if it were cooked in dirty water. Really wasn’t pleased, so I don’t be fooled by the exterior. Maybe just stick to the regular Mexican menu staples. Fajitas looked good. As a conclusion I wouldn’t give this place another try, there are plenty more options in the area.
