WOW! Andy and his crew are awesome! I can’t believe we found him. Our heating went out during this last huge snow storm. Not only did he drive to my house when he said he was going to, he gave us a quote that blew every other quote out of the water. They beat everyone by over a thousand dollars They know their stuff at Avalanche Home Systems and Service, LLC. If you have any problems with your furnace, give THEM a call first!!! I am so thankful that I did. I would recommend them to anyone. Not only do they do heating and air, they also do garage doors and gutters. Thanks Andy, Jon and Jacob for your honesty, and the time you gave my family while installing our new furnace.

We are moving. We have an older furnace that works well. No issues. The family who is buying our home requested (their inspector actually did) that we have a HVAC company clean & service our furnace as part of the closing. I was quite scared after I spent an hour reading the reviews of other HVAC companies in the Douglas County area. It seems like every company gouges the prices to unsuspecting customers. I did my homework, researched furnace inspections, made sure I knew the proper terminology, etc. The majority of the companies out there had multiple bad reviews for price gouging. Avalanche Home Systems and Service, LLC had good reviews. We called them. Andy (the owner) and his son & apprentice Jacob came out today. They did the cleaning which cost $ 89.00 — They were very thorough. He even saved me money by giving me a few tips here and there where as other «professionals» would have charged for their advice. There was a visible crack in the blower in the induced draft blower housing. He showed me the crack. He called and got a price on the blower/​housing. I asked him to order the part. He ordered the part, went and did another job in Highlands Ranch, and was back at our house 3 hours later with the part in-​hand. Easy, nice, courteous, AND Andy is as honest as they come. At times it seems like there is no way out from bad customer service and getting gouged by repairmen. Take my word for it… Andy from Avalanche Home Systems can be trusted. I am a DIYer. I only call a pro if I have to. If you are frugal, don’t want to waste extra money, and want to be sure you are working with a trustworthy individual, call Andy at Avalanche!

As a new home owner and recent Los Angeles transplant, one of the last things you want to happen is your heat to stop working during winter when you’re expecting a big snowstorm that night. We called Avalanche to come out and take a look — they told my husband they would be there within half hour. They showed up, fixed the problem same day even though it meant driving to Englewood to get the part. Jon and Jacob were very kind, pleasant, and hardworking. I was so thankful they squeezed me in and by 1 pm that same day the heat was working again. Not to mention they took the old circuit board back to Andy the other owner and they called the company and found out it had a warranty! Would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for excellent customer service and professionalism!

Andy just drove out to my house in a blizzard to look at our heater!!! He got here quickly and was super knowledgable and personable! Not pushy and all around great guy! Call Avalanche before you call anyone else!!! HIGHLY recommend!

My husband and I called Andy to get a second opinion on repair for our A/​C that was no longer cooling. The first company we spoke to quoted us between $ 3K and $ 13K and said we should probably replace the entire HVAC system along with a $ 129 monthly «maintenance plan»! Avalanche to the rescue! Andy was honest, courteous, and made recommendations with no intention of milking us out of money. He showed up on time and completed the work quickly all while saving us thousands of dollars. I have seen glowing reviews of this company on multiple sites and have recommended them to several people already. Keep up the great work and now we know who to call first!

Finally a company that is honest, transparent, and trustworthy! Andy came and re-​attached our humidifier and also inspected our AC. He figured out right away that the capacitor was bad and replaced it. He was very professional, very knowledgeable, he took his time to do the job right and gave me tips on how to properly care for the AC. He didn’t overcharge me for the parts he needed for the humidifier, he even showed me the Home Depot receipt and added the exact amount. We’ve had quite a few bad experiences with companies that are doing everything they can to overcharge or upsell you, and it was so nice to find someone who has such work ethic! Avalanche will be our trusted HVAC company from now on.

Great experience. Couple of great local guys willing to work with you. It doesn’t hurt that they knew what they were doing.
I had one of those problems where the problem fixes itself while there aren’t any repair guys around. Andy and his assistant stayed way longer than I would have, and came back WAY faster I expected, solution in hand! They cleaned up and were very respectful of the carpet. MUCH APPRECIATED!
I’ll be seeing Andy soon for some maintenance, without a doubt.

Just when I thought there was no such thing as a good HVAC company, it turns out I was wrong! Great company, great service, and I still have money left over. Thanks Andy for coming out on short notice and getting my furnace up and running, then charging me less to fix it than all the other companies fee’s just to drive to the house. I’d give 6 stars if I could.

Andy and his crew are very reliable and professional. We just moved into a new build and it did not come with an a/​c. We had Avalanche home systems install an a/​c and humidifier and I could’t be happier with the work and professionalism they represent.

Our old heating and AC person left the industry, but Avalanche was well reviewed on Unilocal,so I gave them a call. Andy came out within the hour and quickly diagnosed our issue, ordered the part, went and picked it up, worked with them to get it under warranty, and got everything installed and back up and running.

Quick, fast, friendly and very reasonably priced. Andy made a special effort to get our AC fixed quickly so this pregnant lady didn’t die of heat stroke. I highly recommend!

John came promptly, was professional and courteous, and got the job done. He explained to me what the problem was and definitely seemed to know what he was doing. My garage door is working fine now and I’m happy to recommend them.

Even during the rainiest week of the year Andy and Jon were able to immediately attend to my rain gutter issues. They repaired the problem quickly and efficiently and for the price that they quoted. I will not hesitate to give them a call in the future!
