Dr. Martin is personable, funny and an expert in his field. My son has had several occasions to be his patient, and each time there is a thorough assessment and reasonable approach to helping him. Dr. Martin always selects surgery as a last resort, and has several ideas for reasonable approaches to healing. I have also been pleased with flexible scheduling and being fit in when our needs were urgent. I highly recommend him.

One hour and 7 minutes… I had to wait for an appointment. If you don’t mind spending all of your day waiting for your appointment, then this is the place. The Doctors are good, but the wait was not ideal.

Very bad staff. Do not answer phones promptly, don’t answer questions, want you to retake ex rays. Basically milking insurance companies. Assistant to Dr. Martin is a pain to deal with very«short» like she hates her job. Not the place to be for people in pain. Expect better treatment GOELSEWHERE

I now going to Tri-Valley Orthopedic in Pleasanton… they are a WORLDOFDIFFERENCE!!! Thorough, caring… they really are a breath of fresh air. What Dr. Martin told me, compared to what two doctors told me at TVO… well, they were just dumbfounded. And TVO has in house physical therapy.

I’ve been going to AOS for about 8 years now, I’ve always had problems with my knees and only within the last year and a half did I finally have a surgery on one. My doctor has always been Dr. Forrester and I don’t think I could be comfortable going to anyone else because of his great reputation and of the information he already knew about my knees. His nurse was always great too. They made my experience over the years worth it. The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because I have had to cancel appointments with them or cancel anything else I had going on that day because usually the wait to get in(even IF you have an appointment) is close to an hour long.

Dr. Martin is an amazing orthopedic surgeon. I broke my leg while on vacation in France and needed to have surgery when I returned to the Bay Area. I got in to see him right away and he told me I had a tibial plateau fracture. It was bad news, and it was a complicated surgery, but my leg is healing nicely, considering how banged up it was. I feel fortunate to have Dr. Martin as my doctor. He is quite a character and will make you laugh even when you feel like doing the opposite.

Dr. Martin is my homie. Not only have I been seeing him for 9 years, he always remembers me. I only see him like once a year though at the start it was more frequently. If you enjoy someone with a bad ass personality and dry wit you will heart Dr. Martin. Plus his name is Doc Marten, nice. I deleted a star because the wait is always way long.
