Dr. Langer is by far THE BEST dentist I have ever gone to. I have tried many dentists and have either had a bad experience or felt like they were impersonal and too rough. I always felt terrible anxiety with all other dentists, but then I found Dr. Langer! I know she will be my and my family’s forever dentist. She’s extremely gentle. Does amazing work and has a wonderful and pleasant personality. Her staff is also great! I am so glad I found her!

Hands down the best dentist i have ever been to. When i first moved to CA for my new job, i was living in Castro Valley while looking for a permanent residence. I needed some dental work and went to Dr Carolyn based on a recommendation from a friend. Her staff is very friendly, prompt, and organized. Everyone from the receptionist to the dentist is a pleasure to work with. Dr Carolyn’s cleaning was one of the best i have received. I needed to get a cap on one of my teeth and the work was performed flawlessly. I now live in San Francisco and will still commute to Castro Valley to see her. She is worth the trip and visit!

I highly recommend Dr. Langer and her staff. She is professional, friendly, and kind. I recently had three cavities filled, and I have to say it was a surprisingly comfortable experience. She made it a priority to make sure the procedure was as pain free as possible. My husband and I will be making her our family dentist.

I was only for a check up die to toothache, but a great experience from both the staff and dentist. Sure will continue to go for my follow ups.

I’m very appreciative when I find Good, Honest work, in any industry… Dentistry especially since there is pain involved. I used to have a great dentist is SSF and since I moved to East Bay, I have had trouble finding a good one. Alas, I found one!
After being previously diagnosed with three cavities, to finding out I have none, how can I be happier? My child was diagnosed with 6 and now has none? Miracle? Is called Integrity and Honesty which don’t assume everyone has! Be weary when you get told that you have to «Replace» cavities. Get a second opinion!
Perhaps it was timing, but this office is straight forward, honest, and reassuring. My family will definitely be back long term. Staff is great and genuine. Don’t be taken back by the monotone receptionist you deal with on the phone in front because she is really nice in person and very helpful. LOVE, LOVE, this office!

Dr. Langer is awesome. She is extremely friendly and professional as was her staff. It had been a while since my last dentist visit and I was pleasantly surprised at how I was treated as a human and not just a pair of teeth and a checkbook. Actually looking forward to going every 6 months now.

I have been her patient ever since she started practice here in Castro Valley. She is easy to communicate with and also happens to be a VERY good dentist. Her focus is on you and what is best for you. She is gentle and has a great personality. Another favorable point for her practice is her great office staff. Our three kids like her too. If you are looking for a great dentist — you have just found her.

Good dentist, affordable. Offers options of white fillings or the silver ones. Even took her own x-​rays at not cost to me– just to be sure of my diagnosis. She is a straight shooter, quick in and quick out– just how I like my dentist.
I got a cleaning too– but the cleaning wasn’t very deep cleaning. I like to leave the dentist thinking that my teeth are just sparkling… and this one didn’t get there for me.
Still, I’ll go back for the fillings– and get my cleaning elsewhere.

Just saw Dr. Langer yesterday and realized I hadn’t updated my review in a while. She still rocks! I love that I never have to wait. Her office knows how to move things along.
Langer was also terrific when my visiting father-​in-​law lost a cap on a tooth because she was more than willing to work him into her schedule and see him that day.
Even though I live in the city, the drive to Castro Valley is worth it!

Been going here for 2 years. Dr. Langer is very friendly, as soon as you walk in, you would think you have known her for years. She is very easy to get along with, she does a great job to!

After my previous dentist that made cleanings and check-​ups feel like long torture, it was so great to find Dr. Langer. Every time I’ve had an appointment it has been quick and painless. I really appreciate how she and her staff are prompt but still thorough — the most I’ve ever had to wait is 5 minutes and I’m usually done in 30 min. max. She and her staff are fast not because they’re rushing but because they’re good at keeping things moving along. You’ll never find yourself sitting there for a long time, waiting for someone. On top of that, she and her staff are all friendly. They don’t give you a hard time if you have to cancel or reschedule and they always give you a reminder call the day before your appointment in case you happen to forget.
The office space is out-​dated but it is kept very clean. The small entrance to the parking lot is a little hidden, so make sure you keep an eye out for it otherwise you will likely pass it.
I’m glad to have found a good dentist and so close to home!

Dr. Langer is the best Dentist I have ever had. She is so gentle and kind and makes the whole dentist experience very nice. Her staff is also very personable and always welcoming.

Very happy with this dentist. I decided to write this review because when I was recently searching for dentist’s reviews, there were hardly any! And it seems even more important to find out how good a person is who will be drilling in my mouth than how good a local burger joint is. Anyway, just saying, there need to be more dentist reviews!
So, I had just signed up for a great cheap dental plan, and I was nervous finding a dentist off the provider list. Found her, called, everything has gone super smoothly, and billing has gone exactly as expected with my new plan. Can’t be happier!
I went in after years of neglect (and dental abuse), and she is slowly helping me get 9 cavities done. She has done 4 so far, and everything is great. Fast, friendly, punctual, and actually, pretty painless. The worst is just when I get home and the numbness starts to disappear. After that, no pain or problems! So glad I found her! And all the ladies in the office are very nice and helpful.

I started going to Dr. Langer a few months ago, and she’s great. Super personable, and won’t do things without going over the cost and reasons beforehand. The two hygienists are really nice, and so is the office manager. The office isn’t a fancy one, but it’s so hard to find a good dentist, that it doesn’t really matter to me. Dr. Langer never runs late, which is refreshing for medical appointments.
