History
Established in 1982.
Dr. Una has been practicing in Castro Valley since 1982 with active inpatient infectious disease/internal medicine as well as an active outpatient in office practice. He has been a leader in the community, and has chaired infection control/pharmacy committees at multiple hospitals and is past president of the Eden Hospital Medical staff in 1995. He is secretary and medical director for Affinity Medical Group (East Bay doctor owned IPA). He is past president of the Alameda Contra Costa Medical Association and is presently trustee to the California Medical Association and serves as Chair of multiple committees in Quality and Medical Services. He serves on the Board of MIEC (California based malpractice insurance company), CCHRI (statewide quality organization including consumers, doctors groups, insurance companies, and businesses), and serves on a national quality committee for Aetna insurance company.

Manager
Monica previously worked as a critical care nurse, with a BSN she worked as a public health nurse and later as school nurse for the Walnut Creek School District. She is fluent in Malay, Sinhalese, and converses in Tamil. Other members of the office are conversant in Tagalog, and Spanish. The staff is patient friendly with an average of over 8 + years in health care.
