Fresh & Easy

I am the one you will see sitting on the curb crying that Fresh and Easy has apparently closed its doors for good at all locations. They really had some of the most amazing items and I will truly miss them. I am hoping maybe it was a Chap 11, and they are reorganizing, but time will tell.

I won’t shop anywhere else!!! This store is super convenient, fresh products, friendly employees, and great prices.

Right by my house so it’s super convenient. Fresh veggies & already made salads. Although it’s self check out a staff member always bags your groceries.

Love this place… Great for shopping, a fast meal or snacks.

I really like Fresh and Easy. The people who work there are super friendly and helpful. Store has a good section of products. And it easy to get in and out quickly. Much better than standard grocery store when you need just a few items for that day’s diner in a hurry. I also don’t find the prices expensive.

WOW, 3 meals for under $ 35 that served 4 people — FTW!!!
They have awesome promotions, especially during the holidays. We were in the area for a 3-​day holiday and this was the closest store. We walked in and got lots of veggies, fruits and meats.
We grilled steaks with farm fresh veggies. It was awesome. Their produce is fresh and the items were just enough for us to eat throughout the holiday weekend. Self serve is great for smaller items, but if you have a mess of stuff, do yourself a favor and go through the line for someone to assist. You bag your own groceries, but the staff is there to help if it’s not busy.
Very reasonable prices and great values for what you pay for. Our annual stop for our yearly pool party.

I was really sad when they closed the location next to my house but at least this one is still open. I love being able to walk in and grab lunch and/​or some drinks and be able to walk out within five minutes. Located just off of date palm and 30^th Ave. it has a great location to get in and out of very easily.
They offer self check out for every lane at the store however staff is there to help you if you need help with bagging or finding items.

Wow since the new owners took over they have eliminated the weekly specials, coupons and prices — they have increased more than the quality has. It was convenient to do my weekly shopping here but now I make the trek to Pavillions and to Trader Joes. Sorry you lost a loyal customer.

I wrote a similar review for PD. This has replaced TJ’s as my favorite food market. They really are customer friendly. If you get a card with them, they track what you buy and then give you substantial discounts on the things you buy a lot. How cool is that?
The waitstaff is ALWAYS friendly. It makes me want to work there, they seem to be having fun. The prices here are really good. And they have a section in the middle towards the back of items they are discounting. I always check that section out first.
They have good soups, lots of different salads, great selection of very fresh and reasonably priced hummus. They have a gluten free section, organic products, coconut ice cream and lots of good items in the freezer section. I shop at Palm Desert and Cat City and they are both great.

Fresh and Easy is just as the name implies. But like Trader Joe’s and 7 – 11 had a baby. It’s fresh and it’s easy and I love it.
Even though it’s itty bitty, if I’m running out to the store, this is always the place I go. It feels like a neighborhood market. The staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is small and close and it is never crowded.
If you are looking for a fast option that is tasty and not fast food, this is it. It’s gourmet heat and eat food. It’s about as good as it gets in that regard, and it is superbly fresh. They have comfort, ethnic, kids, soups, salads and gourmet options.
Also, I’ve never seen a clearance section like this one. Perhaps because it is fresh food where turnover is frequent, they always have something yummy in their clearance fridge. It seems to have become more popular because they expanded to two fridges and sometimes there is nothing left. And if you are getting something to eat right away, this is a reasonable choice.

I love love love this store!!! The beer selection is great, they’ve got a good sized sale freezer, the people are very helpful and friendly, and it’s small and not a PIA to get around. My only wish for this store is that they get bin goods like Sprouts has. Other than that, I will find whatever reason I can to shop here :)

Fresh & Easy has upped the ante.
Back in the back of the store where they used to have the pre-​cooked, heat-​and-​eat foods, they have re-​designed the section and called it Kitchen To Go (see pic). Rather than the (sometimes uninspired) selections that they used to offer, they now have a range of appetizers, sides, and entrees divided into Mexican, American, Italian, Asian, and EatWell. It was really too much to choose from, but I decided on the Chicken Alfredo from the EatWell section, and got one each for the missus and me. They were priced pretty good at $ 4.50 each, and with only 380 calories and plenty of flavor, my tummy and my wallet were happy the rest of the night! This is a great option for people dining alone, or with only one other person. Pair one of these meals up with one of their rosemary artisan rolls and a Dutch Lager, and you are good to go!

I have to admit it, I never really got into this place, nor was I objective the few times I did go, but man now I like this place .
It reminds me of the smaller grocery stores that I used to frequent when living in Chicago, and for me, this place is also a lot more practical than Trader Joe’s.
I like how things are offered in smaller portion sizes, which is perfect for me since I throw away so much fresh food.
I also utlize the grab-​and-​go food options that are an affordable option (many around the $ 3-​$ 5 per serving range) for those nights you need dinner but just don’t have a lot of time to cook.
Staff is very friendly, polite and helpful.

I’m here on the daily. I love the staff and their products are healthy and delish! F&E rocks my world… and keeps me and my husband fed.

Great selection of pre-​made foods but everything I have tried is absolutely DREADFUL. Tasteless and past it’s prime. It’s strange because it could be so much better… do people really buy this crap and like it?
I was there late one night and never saw a single employee. There were no cashiers so I used self-​checkout and left. Not a single interaction with a staff member seems a little odd to me.

Fresh & Easy’s Organic GODDESS Dressing is excellent. It’s a tahini dressing with flavors of lemons and herbs. I skipped out on the mayo and substituted the Goddess dressing in my chicken salad. No additional seasoning needed, it was delicious!

Great place to swing by for a really good and cheap eat or get most of your everyday shopping done. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice change of pace!

OPENING DAY: So glad Fresh & Easy finally opened this store! My neighbors and I have been anxiously waiting today’s opening. As you can imagine, the store was busy but they seemed to have things under control and the staff was friendly and helpful.
I plan to regularly update my review of this stores products and hope others will do they same leting us know what they thought of speciality items purchased.
