Located on Bloomsbury Avenue in Catonsville, MD, Narcissus Salon features a highly skilled and talented staff, offering personalized services in skin care, hair styling and cutting, the latest trends in custom hair color, manicures, pedicures, eyelash extensions, and body waxing. Most of our stylists are Redken, Lanza, Bosley and Paul Mitchell Master Specialists and our esthetician is a National Educator and Skin Care Specialist for Bioelements.

Established in 2003.

What’s in a name… The name Narcissus comes from a figure in Greek Mythology who fell in love with his image in the water. Upon dying he turned into the Narcissus flower. We interpret this myth with the flower, to represent inner beauty just waiting to be shown on the surface. Let us help you bring out your inner beauty so you can start Loving Your Image.

Meet the Business Owner

Kristen and Kathy M.

Business Owner

Kristen and Kathy’s interest in the salon industry started at an early age. They met through friends in 1997 and made an instant connection. Kristen and Kathy began working together at Bloomsbury House Salon in their current location in 1999. Their dreams of owning their own salon became reality in 2003 when they took over ownership and changed the name to Narcissus Salon. They maintained the talented staff and operators through the transition and are proud to employee the original team plus a few more to date. Prior to co-​founding Narcissus Salon, Kristen traveled with The Paul Mitchell Systems National Educators and Platform Artists as part of the Paul Mitchell National Educator Program. Kristen is a Paul Mitchell In-​Salon Associate and she and Kathy are both Redken Master Specialists, Lanza Leaders, and Bosley Certified Specialist. They take pride in the success of their salon, their staff and their community and are honored to have such a professional and dedicated team to work with
