For those who are new to our practice, our initial consultation begins with reviewing your medical history with Dr. Harris in order for him to be able to recommend the safest and most effective treatment plan for your condition. From you we need a complete health history, exams as needed, x-​rays, and our informed consent process with a possible consent video. Our oral surgery options include: Maxillofacial surgery and oral pathology Dental extractions and orthodontic exposures Orthodontic/​orthognathic surgery Hard and soft tissue biopsies Tumor treatments and pre-​prosthetic surgery Apicoectomies and dental implant placement Emergency infection or trauma treatments Our fees are based on the services rendered during your appointment, coupled with the necessary treatments and the risk associated with your care. History

Established in 2003.

Dr Harris is the owner and president of High Desert Oral Surgery and Implant Center, LLC. Dr Harris and his family moved from New York, New York to Arizona in 2002 where he opened his practice and remains the sole practioner of High Desert Oral Surgery and Implant Center. The office is conveniently located on the North West corner of Cave Creek Rd and Tatum Rd — in the Tatum Ranch Medical Plaza.

Business Owner

Brown «Skip» Harris III DDS obtained a liberal arts undergraduate degree at Colby College where he majored in Business Administration and minored in Chemistry. While in college he worked extensively in the emergency medical services and as a firefighter. Dr. Harris did his graduate training at New York University College of Dentistry, finishing in the top 5% of his class with honors. He then moved on to his postgraduate surgical training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Montefiore Medical Center in New York, New York. Dr. Harris is boarded with the North East Regional Board of Dental Examiners, Western Regional Board of Dental Examiners and The National Board of Dental Examiners. He is also a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and Academy of Osseointegration. He currently holds a license to practice in Arizona and is the owner and president of High Desert Oral Surgery and Implant Center, LLC.
