History
Established in 2011.
JR’s Custom Coatings was established after being inspired to provide a quality painting service for the valley. After moving from the east coast, the owner noticed a lack of quality that he was used to. It’s easy to put paint on the wall, But experiance and a passion to provide quality painting for clients is what makes JR’s Custom Coatings different from some others. The owner has over 20 years of experiance in the painting trade. From painting old victorian homes with multiple colors to beach homes of the Atlantic, the owner wanted to share his talent of quality with the people of Arizona.
Meet the Business Owner
Jack R.
Business Owner
One day while walking through a quiet neighborhood I once lived in back east, an older fella called me over and asked if I would like to help him out on some painting jobs. I say older fella because I was 11 years old. At that time, he was probably just a couple years older than me now. I was always a worker and instead of being board, I thought why not make a few bucks. I was still going to school, So I did work with him on the weekends. He was actually a quality painter himself. He was a second generation painter in his family. I started as an apprentice, but quickly advanced to climbing 40 foot ladders and painting old victorian homes. I have to say at that time I did still need a hand moving the big ladders. I kept on painting over the years. After living on the beach for around 10 years while still painting, and wanting to avoid dealing with the rollercoaster of seasons, I decided to move out west with family.
