Description

Specialties

The Cass House Restaurant offers a locally sourced, seasonally inspired four course menu that changes nightly.

History

Established in 2008.

The Cass House features five luxuriously appointed guest rooms and an intimate dining room that is open for dinner five nights a week, both of which are housed in the meticulously restored home of Cayucos’ founder, Captain James Cass. The ornamental, culinary and entertaining gardens that surround the house are available for events or leisurely wandering and admiring. The Cass House is an ideal retreat for unwinding and enjoying the relaxed lifestyle and beautiful scenery of California’s Central Coast.

Meet the Business Owner

Grace L.

Business Owner

Grace’s award-winning wine list and unparalleled hospitality has earned her recognition in one of California’s most respected regions. After earning her degree in hospitality management from the American Hotel and Lodging Association she opened her first restaurant, Papillon at age 22 along with husband/chef Jensen Lorenzen. The couple closed Papillon to open the Cass House in 2008.

The wine list evolves and changes with the seasons, just as the menu does. Grace has created an intriguing list of over 350 selections, with an equally strong local and international representation. The list also offers a variety of handcrafted brews from worldwide producers in addition to a special selection of local craft beer.
