Business Owner

Naomi Wilkinson is a locally and internationally trained massage therapist and skin care specialist. She has over 1000 hours of massage training. As well as an esthetic license with advanced skin care technique training. Specializing in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Thai, Lomi Lomi, Ayurvedic treatments, Reflexology, Esalen, Prenatal & Spa treatments… Each session is a unique blend of east and west that is intuitive and sculpts the body with love. Each one of our talented skin & body therapists are personally trained and coached by our lead therapist, Naomi Wilkinson. At Illuminate Spa & Boutique we host hands on technique and education monthly for our staff to perfect the many treatments that we offer. We strive to create a blissful and memorable, illuminating experience… Come and enjoy the art of skin and body care.

I waited too long to get a massage so decided to go for the Deep Tissue and wanted in ASAP. Naomi was so kind to find an appointment that day but I’ve heard how incredible she was so really want to get in with her. She got me in the next day. Greeted me with warm lemongrass water to start and led me to the serene space where she would go to battle with those knots in my neck and back. I can only sum it up with one word — «transformed». The knots have been humbled by her work. It will take a few more sessions to undue the buildup of years but already feel results from the attention Naomi gave. The salon has such and warm and inviting ambiance and they have a great retail section too with skin care products, simple yet elegant clothing and jewelry. Find them on MindBody.

This place is heaven on earth! Naomi is simply a miracle worker and is the sweetest person I have ever met. The shop is bright and welcoming. It’s got cute clothes, jewelry, and a plethora of skincare products they use. I did the Radiance package and I highly recommend it! It is an extremely reasonable price for how many of their services you get done. Afterwards, Naomi gave me some samples of the products we used and a chocolate. Who doesn’t love free goodies?!

I was treated with a gift certificate from this business from my daughter. She signed me up for the Ayurvedic mud therapies. Wow that was fantastic and Jessica was amazing! I’ve been recommending all my clients to give them a try. Great environment and awesome retail goodies to buy. I cant waite to go back and try another great service!

John and I had the most amazing couple massage. We have never done one before and so glad we did. Was accompanied with champagne, chocolate, and roses.
The women here are very friendly and make you feel comfortable and at ease right away. My husband said it was the best massage he ever had, which was deep tissue. Mine was a relaxation massage and it did the trick. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Not really a massage type, but I was given a gift of a 90 minute massage and I can’t wait to do it again. Jessica was amazing, I couldn’t believe how fast it went by. The experience was 5 star from beginning to end, a beautiful, clean, and relaxing environment. Really looking forward to going back!

We celebrated my sister’s bachelorette party on 9⁄26 with Naomi and the ladies at Illuminate. Could not have asked for a nicer experience. Small table set with berries and champagne upon arrival and we were allowed to bring in snacks and beverages. The massages and facials were amazing as well. Give her a call if you are looking at setting up a party. ONLY spa in Cayucos that will accommodate you.

I love the atmosphere at Illuminate! Ive had several treatments, and they have all been well above my expectations. The staff are very knowledgeable and very gifted at caring for others. I always leave floating, as if I just woke from a very good nights sleep. They also have a boutique with really cute clothing, jewelry & Eminence skincare. If you want to pamper yourself while visiting the Central Coast, this spa is a must do!

Being residents of Cayucos my wife and I went to the grand opening party at this quite charming and tranquil locally owned day spa. I’ve been to day spas in my time but there’s something about this one that seems to be a step above the rest just in the way it’s decorated with such elegance and modern class. The building is brand-​new and noticeably clean inside and out. The staff was very friendly and very engaged.
I ended up winning a grand opening drawing for a illuminate package facial and massage. Needless to say I passed the coupon down to my wife and she made very good use out of it. She is the very reason I’m leaving this review for her, customer for life.

I have had massages of all kinds on all continents in my long life. The massage by Naomi was absolutely the best I have ever had! It is well worth the $$$ to have her healing touch on you. I asked for the deep tissue, and the pressure was just right! I do not like to chat during a massage, and she sensed this from the beginning and respected my preference. However, after the massage, she and her staff were so friendly that I felt like I had made new friends! A must for those who live on or visit the Central Coast!

I had the pleasure of having a spa treatment this morning at Illuminate Spa and Boutique. I practiced as a midwife for 15 years and have given touch to so many women and babies and my expectations can often times be very high of anyone in the care giving industry.
Today I was absolutely blown away! I felt healed in a way that I have not only needed, but also haven’t been able to find here on the Central Coast in 7 years of living here. My experience was beyond my expectations. Not only did my treatment feel amazing, it was also very healing, intuitive, comforting, and professional. I am feeling so much gratitude in my soul, not to mention my body is relaxed, content and rejuvenated.

My friend and I went in last minute on a Friday, late afternoon/​early evening, & they went above & beyond to accommodate us. We got booked into a 90 min massage for each of us, and they were WAY better than the massage I had last week at a 4 Seasons spa in LA. Way way better.
