For an overnight stay it’s perfect. Checked in at 2:30am and got a very clean, air conditioned room with fridge and microwave right off the highway for $ 64. Perfect for my roadtrip. Décor was nice. Furniture a bit old but room had no odor and bathroom was very clean too. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Stayed for 2 nights. Good location for exploring Bryce and Zion and much more affordable than hotels closer to the parks. WiFi actually works even at peak hours. Room was large and clean. We came down to breakfast close to the end of service hours both mornings we stayed and there was still plenty of food left. My only suggestion would be to those planning on eating late in the area. We came back late both nights after exploring the parks — not a lot of decent places are open late.

For a Super 8, it’s what I expected. It’s an affordable, large, clean room with a refrigerator and microwave. The air conditioning unit was loud, but again, what I expected from a budget motel. The front desk person was friendly and professional. Perfect for a one nighter passing through traveling person.

The night manager canceled our reservation from under us although our card had been charged for this non-refundable reservation months in advance with a late night check in request. When my husband, daughter, and I arrived at midnight after driving 9 hours, the manager and a younger woman were rude, condescending, and completely unhelpful. They blatantly lied to cover up the fact that they chose to overbook and cancel our room. The manager even had the nerve to point his finger at me while raising his voice because I told him I was disappointed in the situation and wanted him to at least try to help us find a room in town. Instead, he insisted on referring us to a about 1 hour back the way we just came from for some reason. When I contacted the nearby Abbey Hotel myself, the manager there kindly explained that they did not have vacancies and then referred us to a few places with rooms available in town. Thank goodness we are now at a motel down the road but it meant that my young daughter had to wait well over an hour and a half for a bed after midnight. I am definitely writing a formal complaint to Umiya, LLC, and the Super 8 Worldwide, INC. regarding these despicable business practices and complete lack of customer service and compassion. I could go on about this horrible experience at the Cedar City Super 8 but suffice it to say I do not recommend paying for a reservation at this disreputable establishment.

For the price, I really shouldn’t complain. But in case you’re wondering: — Old furniture and décor. Everything is on the old side. Kinda smelly and musty. you get the point. — good location near downtown and food sources. There’s a fantastic food list available at the front. — there’s a fridge and microwave in the room. Other than that, it’s a decent one nighter place. I just needed a stop before heading back to SoCal and this place was affordable and decent.

Its ok for the price and quality. The rooms were big and good for pets and it had a fridge and cable. The linens most likely haven’t been updated since the 90’s and that’s fine I guess but at some point those scratchy ass comforters should be replaced. Check-in is easy but the older lady who is there in the morning is racist or something. She was giving out bottled water to everyone else for free and when I asked for one(I brought a pet and Utah temperatures are hot) she tried to charge me 50 cents. I didn’t have it on me and once went outside to get some, she removed all the bottled waters from the window. Whatever tho. Not too bad if you’re passing through but I’d stay at the Motel 6 across the street. Save $ 15 – 20 on the same, if not slightly better quality rooms and pets are free.

Pretty solid place for a Super 8. Room was big. The towels supplied with the room were lacking in quality, but not in quantity. The mattress was very comfy. There was a decent breakfast selection of waffles, cinnamon buns, cereal. yogurt, and bad fruit. Conveniently right off the highway. Plenty of good restaurants and stores close by. It worked well for a good stopping point before heading into the mountains. Located a little less than two hours from beautiful Mt. Zion National Park.

Not bad for what we paid with 2 large dogs. Ice machine broken, not a very comfortable bed, noisy. very friendly & warm staff… good complimentary breakfast… if you like to have cocktails or wine, bring your own(which we did) because you will be hard pressed to find very many restraunts that serve alcohol. we got take out from sonny boys BBQ& went back to room… food was pretty good, had better…

It’s a Super 8, but a really well run Super 8. The room was well-equipped and cared for. Really liked the staff, friendly and efficient. Definitely a cut above Motel 6, with a good breakfast area next to the lobby. Only downer was no pool — would’ve felt good after a hot day hiking, but still a nice(and reasonable) place to stay. One of the best budget motels I stayed in during my swing through the Southwest.

Really, I despise composing negative Unilocal. This truly is the worst Super 8 experience I’ve had. The refrigerator didn’t work at all. There were no cups, glasses, or coffee accessories. There was, however, a coffee pot and coffee. Go figure. Drink your coffee black from the pot or not at all. There were prior guest head hairs in one of the beds, so we slept in the other which looked clean. I walked across the carpet and had something sticky get stuck to bottom of my sock. Ewww, really? Really? We had been driving all day and were just dog tired, so we slept and left for another day of cross country driving. I’m normally so happy with Super 8 hotels. This one was horrendous.

As far as the world of motels go, what can you expect? This place succeeded in giving my boyfriend and I a place to stay one night on the way through Cedar City, UT. Check-in was a breeze. They do have an elevator to get up and down their 3 floors. Most of the people in here looked as though they were in Utah for the same reason we were — camping, hiking, etc. The room was okay. Everything looked clean-ish, the TV worked, as did the electrical outlets. There was a freaky looking arm-chair in our room that looked out of place, but I guess it was just blending in with all the other random furniture. Best part was they do serve up a complimentary breakfast. They even had a waffle maker, apples, bagels, English muffins, and cereals. Pretty decent for a Super 8.

This has got to be the best Super 8 Motel ever! I spent one night here and was impressed by how clean the property is and how friendly the staff are. This is also the only Super 8 that I’ve ever seen that has an elevator, probably because there are 3 floors compared to 2 floors at other Super 8s. For the money, this was even better than a Residence Inn or Courtyard. The breakfast was decent, even included a waffle maker! When traveling through southern Utah, this is the place to stay…
