As the population ages, we have identified the need for helping clients get to the next stage of their life. We network in the community to build referral sources as assist with all stages of transitions. We were established in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Cincinnati, Ohio — Hiring movers, sifting through belongings and boxing up the vestiges of a life — most dread the cumbersome process of moving and the inherent obstacles and difficulties. With the launch of her Caring Transitions relocation and estate sales franchise, Kerri Shimp is looking to simplify the process for others and turn it into a positive experience.

The mother of four and former military wife knows all too well the hassle of packing up boxes and uprooting a family. Generally her husband was transferred ahead of the family, leaving Shimp behind to see through the practicalities of the family’s relocation, she noted. «In a span of 15 years, we’ve moved eight times. So I’ve dealt with transition, I understand the stress and anxiety,» the Cedar Falls resident said. «I also wish we had someone to come in and care about our things on a personal level. Moves can be so impersonal.»
