According to ESPN’s sport science, the single most important factor in hitting a ball for distance is bat speed. The second most important factor is swing angle. Here at Advanced Hitting we measure both factors. For every mile per hour we increase your bat speed it will add 5 feet to the distance the ball travels, if your swing plane is correct.

History

Established in 2007.

This business started when I was in college. I wanted to help out my community by teaching baseball/​softball to kids. So they can grow up and experience the joys of the game as much as I did. From there it grew and now me and the staff have guys and girls of all ages and skill levels.

Kevin B.

Business Owner

Kevin was a four year starter at Montclair State University, as both catcher and designated hitter. He was a Four year All-​State, Three Year All Conference, Three Year All-​Midlantic Region player. He finished as one of the top ten players in school history, with 200 + hits, 25 home runs and 44 doubles, 9^th in RBI and 5^th in total bases.

Kevin now plays professionally for the Pro Freedon League in Arizona.
