We were on a one week golf trip from the Chicagoland area and usually rent a house in the Cedar Grove area. Every year we get pizza from Bada Bing for all the kids/grandkids and this year noticed a new restaurant right next door called Oma’s. This breakfast/lunch place has one of the best breakfasts Ive had in years. The hashed browns were seasoned so well, eggs perfect, the crisp, thick bacon made me even ask where they source it. They pride themselves in «everything made from scratch.» The setting is very nice and spread out so that it doesnt feel crowded. My wife loved the coffee and even shared her pancakes with me– also superb. I was intrigued enough to ask the owner Carol about their bakery section and noticed the pies looked really good. They had some bread pudding as a special that day so I took it home as a take out treat for later– really really good after heating up and adding the glaze. The owner and staff were such a pleasure to speak with– made me realize how much Wisconsinites are so friendly. I would make this a stop for any Chicago golfers on their way to the Kohler area for golfing – or just in the hwy 43 area.
