Established in 1980.

The Best Southwest Small Business Development Center is part of the nationwide SBDC system linking resources from federal, state and local governments to colleges, universities and the private sector. The SBDC is a partnership program with the U.S. Small Business Administration and Cedar Valley College. Providing consulting, research and training services to southwestern Dallas counties that include Cedar Hill, Duncanville, DeSoto, Lancaster and surrounding areas the center is designed to provide small businesses with the practical assistance needed to survive, grow and prosper.
