Rettig’s Gymnastics Training Center

The teachers are great and my kids really like taking classes there. It’s definitely an old-​school feel, and for most of the year the place smells like a high school locker room or feet or something. The waiting room is a bit small for the size of the gym, and can get uncomfortably crowded, especially between classes. One bathroom (though there is also another in the gym area I believe) is not enough, particularly as many kids come right after school and need to change in the bathroom.
The thing that bugs me, though, is that they are terrible about returning phone calls. I’ve tried scheduling a makeup class, only to have my first, second and third suggested dates come and go before they finally called back, at which point it was too late to do the makeup. A friend ended up not sending her kids because she couldn’t reach them to ask a question after her trial class. I understand that it’s a working gym and they don’t usually have someone staffing the desk/​phone, but for goodness’ sake, check messages and return the phone calls!
