We are an on-​site computer repair company that specializes in virus removal, OS reloads and data

recovery. We operate in Austin and surrounding areas. Among other services we offer Wilson cell phone boosters to improve cell reception in in areas that get little or no reception. We also install home theaters and mount flat pannel TV’s.

I am the founder and president of Austin Mobile Computer Repair. I am a native Texan, born in San Antonio. I have lived in Austin since 2001 and I love working here!

I love my job; It isn’t just repairing computers for me it is making peoples’ lives much easier. When I add memory or recover someone’s data, people really appreciate what I’ve done.

It isn’t just virus removal, it is making someone’s computer – and their business – run smoother and faster.

It isn’t just cleaning up the malware, it’s making them safer over the Internet.

When I repair someone’s computer I’m giving them back the ability to provide for their family, study for a big test or just have a great time playing the latest games!

When you call me to repair your computer I’m not just repairing your computer I’m restoring your life to normality or better.

Do not do business with this company. I had a screen that needed to be repaired because the hinges broke on my laptop. The told me that the hinges we not repairable, but they replaced the screen anyway. I asked to have the laptop returned to the condition that they received and they informed that it would cost even more to undo their work.
In order to get my still broken laptop back, they made me pay them $ 265 cash.
Bottom line: spent $ 265 to get a laptop back in the same shape. Never again.

What an amazing resource Ryan is! We’ve worked with many different computer repair businesses over the years, but Ryan beats them all hands down!
I sent an email via his site on Sunday night, and by 11:00 Monday morning he was at my house ready to go!
He fixed my geriatric (only 2 years!) laptop, AND cleared up a lot of issues with my iPhone, AND juiced up our internet connection by putting in a new router (thanks a lot Time Warner!), and was calm, pleasant, and reassuring.
He didn’t sell us anything we didn’t need, suggested that I think about shopping for a new computer, but not for a year, and helped us with the PS4 and the DVR.
Possibly it would have been marginally cheaper had I taken the box into a shop, but this way Ryan was able to see how and where we used our equipment, and was able to do real trouble shooting because of it. He also stayed until we used the equipment ourselves, and that everything was to our liking.
Considering that I’m of a certain generation, and have the computer skills of a hamster, his presence was nothing short of a miracle. Thanks again, Ryan!

Called them this morning and Ryan answered the phone. Turns out he was in my area and he came to my door 25 minutes later! He immediately knew what the problem was, and fixed it with no fuss/​no muss! I love the fact they he didn’t try to upsell me, or create issues to make it a bigger job. I will never use anyone else — fan for life!

I’m very pleased with Ryan’s work; he’s knowledgeable, caring and service sensitive.
Ryan also has a strong sense of fairness in how he bills a client.
In the tech world things don’t always go as smoothly as we would like; a tech person can, through no fault of their own; occasionally, run into jobs that can take them down a rabbit hole of problem solving challenges, which will invariably require more time to resolve than anticipated. I’ve had that happen a couple of times; in both cases Ryan was committed to resolution, and quite gracious in not charging for the «beyond reasonable» time spent in satisfying my needs. I actually felt concerned that Ryan wasn’t being fair to Ryan; and have on occasion paid him more than requested.
He’s definitely worth 5 Stars.

Ryan’s great! He’s so friendly and responsive — he’s our «go to» tech guy for all issues. He helped my parents with some wifi issues at their house — plus recommended and set up a sound bar and some streaming devices (he did it so much quicker and more efficiently than I could have done! Gave me hours of my life back)
Fast forward to now, I have all sorts of tech questions and issues in my new house. I love knowing Ryan can handle anything we throw at him. I’ve been very impressed with his professionalism and technical know-​how.

Couldn’t be more pleased with the help from Ryan. I was nervous about going with a company I was unfamiliar with but Ryan obviously knew his stuff. He fixed my laptop and then the next day went and fixed my mom’s. Both are working as if they were brand new. I highly recommend him for computer repair especially if you are stuck at work all day and can’t make it in to any repair shop. He comes right to you. Awesome.

Ryan took one look at my laptop and said the motherboard was gone. He suggested I go to Frys and buy a Mac! He tried to recover data & couldn’t. The whole visit took less than 20 minutes yet he charged me $ 125. I waited two days for this? Total ripoff.

Absolutely AMAZING! I called Ryan on a Monday, fully expecting him to be booked. He was able to fit me in in the morning and stayed working on our system well into the late evening. (1 wanted everything to work perfectly and didn’t mind paying him for his time to just be there should something not work as it had before the data migration)
He seriously knew his stuff. Both my husband and I were impressed at how everything worked smoothly and simple hiccups were quickly fixed. He was extremely knowledgeable about tiny details, too. This included settings on most of our softwares. It was truly impressive!
We couldn’t have asked for better service, frankly.
Thanks for taking care of us, Ryan! You saved the day. And our sanity.

I am so so thankful for Ryan! My computer crashed Labor Day weekend. I called him on a Sunday, he was at my house within an hour. I told him I needed my computer back within a day because 1) I had to get important information to someone and 2) I would be traveling for the next few weeks and wouldn’t be able to address the issue until I got back, which would have been too late. Because of the way my computer crashed he had to take it over night. The next day he arrived with it fully fixed, saved all of my files and gave me excellent tips on how to keep my computer safe. I would absolutely recommend him to someone who needed their computer fixed fast, conveniently, and affordably. Thanks so much Ryan!!!

Ryan was great. He picked up my hard drive at my house and was on time which is very important when you have busy schedule. Unfortunately, my hard drive was very bad off so he wasn’t able to repair it but he sent me in the right direction… and best of all, he didn’t even charge me for testing it out. He did more than most companies that just try to hook it up to another computer… like Office Depot, etc… Very nice and reliable. I’d recommend if your hard drive crashed and it’s not horrible like mine was.
