Breath & Balance Bodyworks is a small Massage and Yoga Studio.

We are a husband and Wife team that have set out on our first business venture. My name is Rainbough Phillips. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) with advanced training in deep tissue, sports massage, myofascial release, and structurally oriented bodywork. My husband, William Lee Miller, is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). Together we have created a business with the goal of bringing relaxation, balance, and a renewed sense of well being to our clientle. We currently schedule by appointment only, so please call when you are ready to schedule an appointment or if you have any questions.

My husband and I picked up a killer Groupon deal for 8 private sessions and we got our money’s worth, plus some. Billy is an excellent teacher. He always asked how we were doing, if we had anything specific we would like to work on and if we had feedback. He’s a quirky, sometimes silly guy and he really made yoga fun. Anyone who can make me laugh every time I do chair pose is a winner in my book ;). Scheduling was easy and the couple of times we had to reschedule, he did so with no problems. He’s incredibly affordable and well worth the money. I would highly recommend him for both beginners and experienced yogis.

My wife and I recently started taking some vinyasa yoga classes. She had a few weeks head start on me and was also more natural at it. For valentines I got us 8 private couples lessons here.
I knew I wasn’t good at yoga but I had no idea how wretchedly bad I really was until we started our private lessons with Billy. Now I know that sounds like a bad thing, but on the contrary it was a great revelation.
He breaks down each of the poses into simple, easy to understand parts and helps both of us focus on our weak areas. My wife and I have both learned more than we have in several group classes with only two private classes with him. I think what we learn here will carry on and help us in other yoga classes, home practice as well as life in general… I mean who knew I was supposed to have my feet pointing forward when I walked? Not me, before these lessons!

I have MS and had very bad paralysis in my left side. After meeting with Billy for over 2 years, I have almost all control! He’s an amazing one-​in-​one physical therapist. I would not change a thing. He’s also very affordable, because I’m in disability.

I had a bad lower back muscle pull and after a chiropractic visit was advised to start yoga. I picked up a great voucher for 8 classes. William always asked how I am doing and tailors the session to me. Depending on how my back is feeling we adjust our session to ensure I don’t further injure myself but we still work on getting it corrected. When I’m done with my sessions I feel refreshed and stretched, which in turns makes my back pain subside. The results speak for themselves and yoga is now a daily part of my life. Thank you William for showing me the way.

I did yoga with Billy (William) for several months last fall. I could tell a huge difference in my strength and flexibility just after 10 sessions. It’s great to have such personalized instruction and almost for the same price as dropping in at a yoga studio.

I have started taking yoga classes from Breath and Balance twice a week. I am terribly out of shape (as you can probably tell by all of the restaurants I’ve reviewed on Unilocal) but William works with me at my level and motivates me to go forward. I can already feel results, especially with my posture. It is an excellent value for what you get out of the class.
