The owners are friendly, courteous, and professional! They’ve taken great care of me for the past three years. The keys ALWAYS work, they’ve replaced my car fob/​remote batteries, unlocked my daughter’s truck after she locked her keys in it – and yes, they give you a firm price to unlock your vehicle and stick to it! Super people, super business.

Out of three other places I called for quotes in this area, Cedar Park Lock and Key gave the best price by far. I just needed a key cut and programmed for my car (and I was supplying the key) and it only cost me $ 86 total. Other businesses were going to charge me $ 105-​$ 150. Not only that, but they were very courteous and I was out of there in 15 minutes! I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of key cutting services.

I gave up those cheap Walmart keys a long time ago. They break, they bend, and aren’t cut accurately. My kids lose their house keys about two times a year, so I visit this store often. They have different designs so that everyone gets one to fit their personality, and so I know who left their key laying around. ;) The lady at the front interacted with my son helping him pick out his key showing him racecars, ninja, and girlie design poking fun. He is shy and she was able to crack a smile from him.
My daughter recently locked my keys in the truck getting her bookbag out, I called Cedar Park Lock and Key, they were at my house within 15 mins and quoted me the exact price which was reasonable. Other places gave me vague prices which included service call + some starting price depending on the vehicle. i gave them my year and model and they still wouldn’t give me an exact price… all they were going to do was jimmy the push lock anyways.

Cedar Park Lock & Key saved my night! My storefront lock was messed up & none of our keys would work. They arrived within 30 minutes around 6:30 pm & had me a new lock & 4 new keys within 15 minutes. I will definitely use them again & highly recommend them!

I called this locksmith for help with one of my home’s entry door locks. Brian was extremely condescending and even had the audacity to laugh at me when I told him that I had looked online on how to fix my lock.
It’s no wonder that so many of his Unilocal reviews are negative. The owner needs to learn the art of customer service.

Beware!!! check with your local dealership before working with these rip off artists. They wanted to charge me $ 135 bucks to cut 3 keys and the dealer was $ 125 which it should be the other way around. When I called the lady back, who by the way had a nasty attitude to ask her if she would beat the dealership’s price because I preferred to give the business to the local businesses. She then snapped at me and said well goo to the dealership then. She started telling me stories about other dealerships that said one thing then charge a different price, then they come back to her. It’s was clear this lady had no remorse or respect for customers. Stay clear from this place. Very Rude Behavior stay clear, «RIP OFF».

Terrific first experience with CP Lock and Key. My dead bolt broke last night and I called first thing this morning to see if it could be repaired or replaced.
They were out here within an hour and fixed the lock so I could keep my existing keys.
A little pricey but hey what do you expect.
Definitely will keep him in my Rolodex if I have future problems.

I called before I made the drive because I had attempted to have a commercial office key cut at Home Depot and Wal-​Mart, but they both said they couldn’t do it. His first response was «Wal-​Mart and Home Depot are NOT LOCKSMITHS.» Taken aback, I let the silence hang on the line for a few seconds. I then asked him if that meant he could do what I needed, to which he simply replied «I’m a locksmith» in a very condescending way, as if the question I was asking was an insult to him and his profession. I politely told him I would take my business elsewhere and hung up. Very rude behavior.
