Hertz Rent A Car

My Austin auto repair service called Hertz in Cedar Park yesterday to find a car for me while my car was in the shop. We got wonderful service! Theresa came and picked me up to drive me to their location. I rented a car for 24 hours and when I returned it Theresa drove me back to the auto repair shop to pick up my car. I was extremely impressed with how quickly and easily this was all done and at a very reasonable rate. I used to avoid Hertz thinking the budget car rentals were cheaper. Enterprise
didn’t have any cars available in NW Austin so we turned to Hertz and they got the job done!

I used a website to search for and reserve a car for my wife to have for a week to travel to a funeral. I received the email confirmation number from the site — and it had the
Trip # and the Hertz Corporation Confirmation #:.
I thought all was good at that point. However, 30 minutes later, my wife received an email that «no car is available» — even though I had the confirmation IN HAND. I tried calling them for 30 minutes (rang about 20 times — and then would disconnect). Finally someone answered (Justin) and could not provide any assistance. He put me thru to Tila — and she advised «Well, the web page shouldn’t have done that — we don’t have any cars». To which I responded «I don’t care what it SHOULD have done — I have a CONFIRMED RESERVATION from you (and Hertz) and now you’re telling me you don’t have a car!!!». Absolute garbage — she knew about the problem already. Something needs to be done. Very disappointing.
To her credit, while on the phone, she told me that someone was returning a car *at that very moment* and that my wife could get that one. WHAT A JOKE.
Sadly, we took the car — as we were under a severe time constraint. This ‘company’ definitely needs to get their act together. Completely unprofessional and disappointing. I don’t know if the issue is with this company or HERTZ — but since the manager knows about it – it definitely should have been addressed and not just ignored.

Most incompetent staff ever! !!! Dustin can’t sign out a car without calling his Manger for direction on every key stroke. Never again will I use this location. Pathetic! !!!

Maybe 5 stars as the experience isn’t complete. I’ve needed a rental for over a week while my car was in the shop. They have been friendly and very accommodating. So far, so good.

Rented a car to drive to Illinois to visit my grandkids. (13 hr drive each way) I opted for the midsize car which in my case was a Nissan Altima.
I did save $$ by doing mine online.
The car was perfect and roomy enough for what I needed I was very pleased with it!
The salesman named Ryan who helped us was very helpful! Customer Service ++++
We will use Hertz again when the need arises!

Had a really great experience renting a car from here for the week. The car was pretty dang tiny but other than that the check in and check out process was super smooth and Ryan was really nice and efficient! Will probably look to rent from them again next time I am in town.

The worst experience ever! I got hit by someone and this is who her insurance deals with. I do my due diligence and called to let them know what I need (full size car) same thing I drive now. I get here and these assholes want to give me a Yaris!!! When I tell them that’s not going to work, that I specifically called and told them what I needed they then say well we dont have any cars available. This is damn ridiculous and I will NEVER deal with these people again!!! What a joke!

So far so good… I was rear ended and the ladies insurance company’s got me in this car… nice staff and as I said so far so good. I will update if anything goes bad…

I’ve rented multiple times from this location, and each time there has been an issue, even to the point that they didn’t have any cars available, even though I had a reservation a month in advance. I’m also a gold member, so the cars are supposed to be ready to go, out the door without any paperwork. This never happens here. I’ve officially switched to Enterprise. Terrible, terrible service.

I was rear-​ended recently and needed a car quickly. My insurance company helped me find this location and I picked them for their convenience. Very good choice. Decent cars for great prices (insurance is paying, but still). Great service and care. I am very glad to know they are there if I ever need a car again.

Worse experienced ever! Will never rent a car from this location. Went in bc the other car I had rented had a flat tire but didn’t have a jack or spare. Road assistance told me to leave the car and head to this location. Acted like I was trying to steal a car. Once I got him on the phone with the people that sent me there, he found a car for me. Then gave me the key and told me the type of car. No walking out to find the car with me. Just told me to walk the lot until I found it. He was such a jerk! Horrible service.
