Legacy Arbor Care is a complete tree care company that is based in the Greater Austin Area, with the capabilities to travel longer distances for specialized tree care projects. We offer professional tree care services managed by company owner and ISA Certified Arborist (TX-​0965A) Brent Frazier.

Legacy specializes in both commercial and residential tree care with a strong emphasis on industry standards. We take a conservative stance on tree pruning as we feel in many cases trees are over-​pruned, which leads to future health and structural issues. Unlike many tree care companies, we take a holistic approach to tree care as we feel there is more to tree care than just a chainsaw. Not only is it important to manage a tree for shape and structure, but also pest, nutrition, and plant vigor.

History

Established in 2012.

With over 16 years of experience in the tree care industry, Brent Frazier started Legacy Arbor Care to continue caring for trees in the greater Austin area. Brent draws on his experiences taken from working with other arborists, landscapers, master gardeners, property managers, and home owners to set the company’s tree care philosophies. It’s this experience mixed with industry standards set forth by groups such as The International Society of Arboriculture and Texas Forest Service that allows Legacy Arbor Care to offer scientific and creative tree care options.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Brent graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry from Texas A&M University (class of 95). While attending Texas A&M, Brent was an active member of the Forestry Club, as well as the National Forestry Honor Society, Xi Sigma Pi. In addition, he was awarded scholarships from both the International Society of Arboriculture and Texas Vegetative Management Association.

After graduating, Brent was recruited by a nationally known landscape company, where for 11 years, he managed the Austin based tree care division. In 2007, an opportunity to partner with another local arborist presented itself. Together, they grew into one of the largest, local tree care companies in Austin. Deciding to branch out on his own, Brent has now embarked on a new and exciting opportunity. Drawing from that wealth of valuable experience, Legacy Arbor Care was born.
