I have called a few times to have some speakers and an amp installed but can’t seem to get a call back…

I’d have liked to employ Ryan @ Mobile Solutions Austin, but he cancelled 3x on me, the last time just days before a road trip.
I suppose it is good to be busy, but he seems to lack basic scheduling skills.
First time: He cancelled once because an install went over allocated time — I didn’t have a problem with this, I know how the jobs can be. No sweat, just let me know when you can do it… After this, he was hard to nail down, said he had a car accident and no transportation, etc which created a delay.
Second time: booked a specific date but he cancelled the day before. Rescheduled for a day later.
Third time: Bailed again.
Customer service level: all done via text! I’d pick up the phone if I did that to someone.
He referred me out to a buddy that didn’t answer and didn’t return calls or texts.
So, if you want something done, be prepared, it could take weeks before he makes time to deal with it. He knew time was important to me as I had a trip planned and had been too busy to pull off the installation myself. Despite knowing that I really had to stick to a deadline, I was bumped and cancelled on, putting me in a tight spot — the final cancellation was 4 days before my road trip!
Bonus: I did it myself anyways. Thanks for the motivation!
If you don’t mind waiting, it seems that he knows what he is doing and is apparently pretty popular.
Pricing was fair — check Pro Car Audio or Audio Mobile for comparable rates and top notch service.

I called Mobile Solutions Friday afternoon to request a stereo and front door speaker installation and they were at my house the next morning at 8:30 am. Only took 2 hours to install and the results were the best i’ve seen by far (and i’ve gotten a lot of stereos installed in my cars over the years)! Will definitely use Mobile Solutions for all of my future installations!

These guys took care of me today after I took him an Alpine W910 GPS nav unit that I had trouble installing late in the afternoon. They charged me a fair price, and gave me several recommendations to make future upgrades installations cleaner and more effective. If you want a nice detailed clean installation with nice equipment, these guys are the bomb. I personally love Alpine and JL audio equipment and these guys got it!

Great experience system sounds amazing, I’ve checked around best bang for the buck

I was having an issue with some unwanted noise, basically a whine consistent with engine rev, coming through the installed speakers. I took it back to Mobile Solutions and they diagnosed it as an issue with the tweeters I had purchased, and they replaced the speakers with «spares» they had — and the diagnosis, labor, and parts were done free of charge. Very pleased with the work and service.
