Although I did eventually get what I paid for and wanted for the most part, it was an ordeal to get it. I asked Linda upfront if she could do a session with me wherein I only purchased 1 photo — I told her what type of look, feel and scenery(I suggested the lake as I wanted water) I was going for. She was prompt in her reply and eager to please — she stated she would need to charge a minimal extra fee for travel to the lake — understandable of course. She requested I send her an Email with possible pose preferences. She stated she would take a multitude of pictures and make sure all of my pose preferences were part of the session. I was impressed up to this point — but this is where being impressed ended. After I paid the sitting fee, she suggested we use a man-made water area within ½ mile of her house — I agreed, but for some reason she still felt the need to charge that extra trip fee. She was unorganized and easily frustrated — I helped her on several occasions with her set-up as she moved around to take A COUPLE of the preferred pictures I requested — then she stopped stating«I’m out of film — we’re done.» When I came to view the photos she had taken, I actually found 3 that I loved — instead of the original 1 photo I only needed. Once I told Linda I would be purchasing 3 photos, she began to rush me stating she did not have time to work with me any longer and began making statements like«do you have any idea how long it took me to put together that book of photos for you?» I explained to her that I told her from the beginning I only wanted 1 photo and that she managed to do such a stunning job on more than 1 that I wanted 3. Needless to say, when I picked up my «package» of pictures, some changes had not been made that I requested and she was less than friendly. I don’t particularly find paying for attitude appealing — I can get that for free in plenty of places. Know what I’m sayin’?
