I had such a bad experience with a dentist, I did not go to any dentist for a long time. Going to Dr. Blackwell regularly for several years has been a good experience. I mean, who likes to go to the dentist. But he and his staff are really good.

I have been going to this dentist since 2005 and was referred to him by a friend.
Dr. Blackwell and his staff are knowledgable, professional, honest, caring, flexible, attentive, and punctual. They take many different kinds of insurance and discount dental plans, so my care has always been affordable. Dr. Blackwell’s approach is conservative and cautious. Once I tried a franchise group dentistry practice in a nearby small town where i was living, and by the time i left they wanted me to sign up for over a thousand dollar’s worth of procedures. I followed up with Dr. Blackwell and was told that none of these were necessary. In addition, i have sensitive teeth due to retracted gums, and Dr. Blackwell’s hygienist happily changed her methods to accommodate my preference and comfort level. My sister also goes to Dr. Blackwell, and i will continue to highly recommend him to others. It has been well worth the drive from an hour away for the past 11 years to get trusted, excellent dental care.
