Customer service is terrible. I had a 3pm appointment and they did not start my car until after 5pm. No apologies just a waste of alot of my time.

oil change bad twice for my mother and girl friend, always an oil leak were there was not before ! Going up there to kick a s s ! (2) times in one year and me a guy there twice gave me some one’s ticket? . Really Bad Service !

Not sure why they have bad reviews. I made an appointment with pep boys for 8 am drove up there and the man mumble at me that they open at 9 then proceeded to walk off and get in his car as I was talking to him. Went to Sears Harold was great and accommodating will be back.

Sears Auto Center at Lakeline Mall has a wonderful staff. They have excellent customer service and competitive pricing. My «check engine light» was on. It took a while to figure out the source of the problem. The staff went out of their way to provide me with exceptional customer service. A big thank you to Kaylynn, Fernando, Tony, Andrew and Eric!!! I had such a good experience that I will return and I will recommend Sears Auto Center at Likeline Mall to all of my friends.

My experience at Sears was a top notch! First of all, they go above and beyond in customer service. I bought four tires, they were so helpful in finding the best fit for my suv, and the price was good too. I’ve been to many automotive shops and none compare to Sears at the Lakeline mall. Tina, the manager was extremely helpful explaining which tire was the best fit for my car. She didnt try to sell me the most expensive tire, which I appreciated greatly. THANKS TINA!

Do not bring your car here. The guys have no clue what’s going on.
Oil change was to take 45 min over 2 hours now still not ready
Will not use them again

Overall I have had good experience. I have bought tires from Sears, batteries and I have had numerous oil changes. Overall good service — just be sure to allow for two hrs per job. They are slow at times.

Disappointed in their «appointment booking.» Came in for an oil change on Saturday and they asked me to make an appointment for Sunday. Set an appointment for 11am an hour later I was told that my vehicle was «next» to be worked on. Word to the wise don’t bother with an appointment.
Other instances when I have not made an appointment they have been great and timely.

Got four new tires, and thought we’d share our experience:
1. BAD — Sears site offered a price on a tire, but the store for some reason couldn’t get them. Ever. That kind of pissed me off — Sears wanted to force me to pay for shipping, which was not exactly cheap since tires are effing big.
2. GOOD — when we arrived, the staffer tried to empathize, and was very personable. He did go out of his way to go get these specific tires during the lunch hour, since that location didn’t have them — it was VERY kind, and we were very grateful!
3. BAD — somehow, all of the Audi caps on the wheels magically broke and popped off, damaged beyond repair… I understand one or two, but all four (and one ended up missing altogether)? wth, bro? Yet another stupid part we’ve had to order online.
4. GOOD — they honored their pricing, didn’t try to trick us with any extra repairs, and the car was clean and in the same shape we sent it to them in.
Overall, our experience sucked because of Sears, but ended up being okay because of one team member’s efforts to try to make it better.

Four tires purchased 4÷25÷13, odometer 37,494. Cost $ 187 each plus $ 28 install & etc. Total cost ~ $ 860.
On 9÷20÷13 there was essentially NO tread on rear tires, odometer 44,406. Front tires were excellent. That’s 5 months and 6900 miles. Rear wheels were slightly out of alignment, but wear patterns were even. Sears was unable to find a defect in the rear tires and maintain that we must have been «spinning the tires like race car drivers.»
Since there is «no defect», there is no warranty that is applicable.
My wife and I are senior citizens and drive very conservatively. They graciously offered me 15% off a new set of tires.

Ah the holiday weekend —
Went to start my car — Click Click Click — after some research had it narrowed down to battery/​starter/​starter relay — seeing that I am somewhat handy around a car, decided to try and fix it meself…
Flashlight in tow, I opened the trunk to find that, although I could pick out most of the parts in the engine block, I could not find the battery — but thanks to the internet, determined that it is found UNDER the block, behind my wheel well (and thanks to AAA, it was bad).
Here comes Sears to save the day! Called the local SAC early Sunday afternoon (around noon) and found they were open, had my battery AND could get me in… I am on my way!
The GOOD — Price quoted me over the phone was off by ten dollars (but then again, I wasn’t gonna remove the wheel/​firewall, etc. to install) so no surprises.
The BAD — although I was in early (again noon) it still took 2.5 hours for the battery change — but it was Sunday, on a holiday. The place filled up and they were woefully understaffed (and didn’t practice work smarter not harder); a good ¹⁵⁄₂₀ minute wait to be seen, let alone anything else customers may have wanted/​needed
The MEH — they really need seats in that place, especially since that area is guaranteed to have folks waiting around, either checking out or checking in.
To sum it up — I was happy with my experience BUT I could really see where other reviewers did/​would have issues with Sears time management.

The service is so slow it’s unreal. 2+ hours for new tires. An hour and a half for a simple tire repair at 9 in the morning when it isn’t even busy. Not to mention their tires are seriously overpriced. And the guy said the car was being worked on when I could plainly see it still sitting in the parking lot. I’ll be taking my business to Discount Tire. For a business that has built such a long, reputable standing in America, I am extremely dissatisfied.

I was 300 miles from home, had a problem with my brakes, and was worried I would have to rent a car for a week and come back the next weekend and pay a hefty repair bill. Luckily Sears was open and they took my car at 2:00 on a Saturday and had it back to me on Sunday morning. She made a point of calling me on Saturday night to assure me that the car would be ready the next day and I wouldn’t have to come back the next weekend. Good job, guys!

Took them 3 hours to rotate my tires after the 30 minutes it took to check me in. (I was the only customer in the store) On a Wednesday afternoon! Customer rep said she would call me when my car was done. I suppose her shift ended because she was gone. I found out my car was done by looking on an open computer which caught my eye because it had all of my personal info on it!!! Ugh! Never coming back!

Went in today at 1:30pm to get new tires. We had called ahead to see whether they were busy, and they said they were not and could get us in and out quickly. This was important to us, as we had a toddler in tow. When we arrived, they confirmed that they should be done in 30 – 45 minutes. That time frame came and went. We checked in several times and were told they were working on it. Finally TWO and a HALF hours later they said they were done. We got out of there at 4pm with a cursory «sorry about the wait» apology and that was it. I will go elsewhere next time.

Went in for a free oil change as part of my vehicle’s warranty. Had them check my brakes. They quoted me over $ 800 to ‘fix’ them. I went to another shop and $ 75 later, the brakes are fixed and I’m back on the road.

Update: Had my fiancees car also taken in before I had them work on my car, and they stated that she also needed new pads for the car. Took it to the local Toyota dealership, and they said they are perfectly fine. Sears will take you for anything they can — Stay away!

All our cars auto needs are done here at Sear Auto.
When it comes to working on my BMW, they will go and pickup the part from BMW of Austin and they will do the install. Yes this is much cheaper than BMW of Austin doing the work. That’s no surprise.
Staff is very friendly and prices are reasonable and you feel good about the work and service they’ve provided you.
