Wash N’ Roll

I have been a monthly pass holder for over a year. In that time I have complained to two managers of two different locations and spoken with the owner as well via phone. It is the same problem I have had (and worth mentioning several others I know who use them have concurred they have same issues) for many months.
More times than not the kids (and most of them are but not all) don’t care about how they wipe down the cars. They use the same rags over and over to a point where they are literally drenched with water and therefore leave countless water streaks and often make the windows worse than just driving off! It is deplorable honestly. The owner specifically told me they are (supposed to be) trained to fold the towels over and use only a couple times and then discard and get new ones. I have a black car so it’s even worse for me.
About half the time now I tell them to use new towels but only after I see them wipe the front windshield to be fair so I know if they are too wet. But seriously I am a paying customer and shouldn’t have to request or police that. Ridiculous.
The monthly pass is a good deal but Mister Mister is only $ 5 more a month so I have weighed whether to just jump ship. It is getting more difficult not to do so with this ongoing issue that is never getting resolved. You’d think both Managers and the owner would care enough to change it…

This place gives you a first class car wash. It doesn’t take long and the price is right. Let me know if you disagree, but I don’t think you will.

Was my first visit at Wash n Roll. Staff was friendly and helpful. The wash itself was mediocre. At first glance it was a good job, but lots of dirt and bird poo still noticeable on my car. I did like the hand dry after the wash. No line for the wash part, but when I got done there were no vacuum stalls available.
Overall, I would only go back if I didn’t want to wash my car myself.

The place is ran by kids who could care less about your car and experience. No adult management. I have had to get out on my visits to dry my own car to avoid soap spots due to no one being around or poor staffing. My two cars have sustained lots of little damage along the way. I had a windshield get cracked which was the end of the line for me. The cost of that alone would have paid for five years of my «High Roller» Plan. I’ve never felt like a High Roller and sure didn’t experience what the value of that monthly plan was. Of course beware — you enter the wash always at your own risk. They are responsible for nothing. I’m going back to washing my cars by hand myself. Wash N Roll should be forced out. I never had issues at Mister Car Wash. But of course they hire adults too.

**Need to have descent supervisors who can teach staff common decency, and positive work ethic**
I can go on for days, and am seriously debating on canceling my service. The staff has flipped more than once every few months since I have been going here. Too many «youngsters» that have no work ethic seem to work here consistently. I really enjoyed the services that were provided at the beginning, but now most of the staff are a bunch of lazy kids that don’t know how to do there simple skill of drying the cars off and cleaning the wheels. I’m paying for a service and it should not be noticeable as night and day depending on who is working and how well my car was cleaned off. That’s just ridiculous!!!
Recently my complaint is hearing the staff make fun of the cars and there license plates while getting my car dried off, you know what I expect this now sadly coming from a bunch of sloppy simpleminded «Big Kids» that don’t know how to complete a simple and brainless task. I’ll update my review with there names as time goes on.

** Thank you to the staff that I use to see there from the start. You made this an awesome experience and more than just a car wash.

Purchased the medium wash and after i went through the car still had bird dropings and tree sap stains all over the roof. They let me run through a second time, this time they sprayed the roof with bug /​tar remover and brushed it but it did no good. After I went home, i took a sponge with some soap and washed the roof and the bird droppings and sap came off pretty easily. Surprised their detergents and brushes are not able to dissolve and clean off dried bird droppings and tree sap. Car is brand new, only 3 months old so its not abused, just a whimpy wash. Other then that… nice people. The self vacuming stations are nice and have air compressors for blowing dust out of corners. Probably won’t be back however.

Good enough car wash. Pretty average auto wash with some extras. Tire package is lackluster. Maybe it was the high schoolers doing it.
The vacuums, however, are awesome. Great suction power. How great? Be warned. I lost a house key and about $ 3 in change, and who knows what else. But I’m not complaining. They suck like they are supposed to!

I would give no stars but it not allowed! My car was damaged to the tune of over $ 3,000.00, yes that’s three thousand dollars.

The first accident occurred on a sunny day February 18^th. We were at the end of the wash tunnel approaching the car dryer. The belt was stopped (later I was told it was due to a vehicle behind me; the driver had attempted to drive thru rather than putting the vehicle in neutral) when the belt was re-​started it was very loud and disorienting to my small children in the back seat who began to cry; the car was still in neutral and was pitched forward into a light post. At that point I spoke to Mitchell and Montana Merrill. Mitchell said «Yeah this happened to a guy in a pick up last week, let me get an incident report». Montana said «So sorry, we will help you to get your car looking new again, our insurance mostly covers anything that happens in the tunnel; but we will work with your insurance company to help you.»
The following Wednesday February 25^th I went again to the same car wash across the street from my neighborhood, since I have a membership at this location. As I was in the car wash tunnel with my car in neutral the vehicle in front of me was stopped. Per the car wash policy I honked because there was an issue. The assistant manager Mitchell and the car wash mechanic came in running. The belt pushed my car into the car in front of me, then the belt was stopped at which point the car in front then backed into me twice while the employees shouted that he stop. I refused to leave until the police arrived, because I wanted the problems with the car wash belt noted. He had me drive out of the stopped tunnel, I believe that somehow the rear bumper was gashed at that point. When we were outside the officer had two other officers show up and ask questions the female officer mentioned this had occurred at another wash and roll location in Austin. The driver in front of me Keith W., said that he had not taken his car off neutral, but was knocked off the belt. He only backed up to avoid hitting the equipment.
On both occasions there was no speed the vehicle was in neutral. In my opinion, this accident was caused by a defect in the car wash’s equipment, which explains why they had a mechanic on site at the time I was there during the second accident only a week later.

Great car wash for an automated place. Someone directs you into the space, put your car in neutral and the car wash does the rest. Also, they hand towel dry your car so your car leaves spotless.
They have free hand towels, cleaner and a vacuum with great suction power.

Stopped by for a car wash on my way home from work last night. Wasn’t busy so no waiting — biggest positive I can offer.
Purchased «High Roller» ($ 18) includes wheels & tires so expected a great experience. Mediocre service at check in. Had trouble getting my car on the tracks into wash — even with following staff hand signals and reading & following the sign for instructions car nearly jumped off the track going into the wash.
Staff drying off my car must have been using wet towels because the quick wipe down didn’t catch 100%.
Wheels were cleaned on the surface but they didn’t put the effort into cleaning the inner edges.
Unfortunately I didn’t get out of my car to inspect– my bad.
Receipt states: «We guarantee your vehicle is clean. Please let us know if you are not completely satisfied.»
Translation: You can tell us, but we won’t do anything unless bugs, grease or big streaks of dirt are still on the car. No re-​do even if you return unhappy within a few minutes of your wash.
This wasn’t my first time using this car wash and each time I’ve had similar experiences. It’s convenient so I really wanted it to be a place I could feel good about doing business.
Time to look for another car wash.

This car wash on numerous occasions has refused to honor their advertised commitment to satisfaction guaranteed or we will re wash your car till you are satisfied. I wonder why I go back even one more time. Because of convenience. I have now learned my lesson. And of course the manager is no where to be found. When asked who I could speak to about my discontentment. I was told they would not do anything to my vehicle unless I purchased their monthly program. And that the manager only worked Monday through Friday 8 to 5. The word customer service is not expressed to the people that work there. Which is passed down evidently by the manager on the operation. If your vehicle is not cleaned to our (the consumer) satisfaction, per your slogan «we will do it again for free» just be authentic. Whether I buy into your monthly program or not.

They get one star only because I was required to give something. Worst experience EVER. RUDEST EMPLOYEES!!! Waste of time and money.

Unlimited monthly washes, with complimentary towel dry, for $ 14.99 can’t be beat. I’ll break this down:
$ 14.99 unlimited car washes for a month.
Access to over 20 stalls with high-​powered vacuums Complimentary towel dry.
Clean rags in self serve car stalls.
Cleaning sprays in self serve stalls.
Air spray in self serve stalls.

Wash n roll is best car wash hands down! I love their monthly membership options starting at $ 14.99 unlimited washes! Hand drying and free vacuums! This place is a steal compared to competition that is always too busy creating long wait times and at least $ 5 more per month! Employees are friendly and fast!

There aren’t too many ways to describe a car wash experience. I have tried a few different options in town and I really like this location.
It is off Parmer near the 1431 HEB. It’s in a relatively quiet location too.
I love the lanes setup for the vacuums. I’ve visited Arbor Car Wash and a few other locations that vacuum for you at the start, but they never seem to do a thorough job. I like the option of vacuuming my own car.
The only thing I would change about the vacuums is that they need little bristles attached to the end. The suction doesn’t work as well when the vacuum head is hard plastic. You need the little bristles to brush up some of the stuff that is stuck on your car fabric.
The wash was pretty decent. It didn’t remove a few items from my passenger door, but for the price I left happy.

Who needs the gym when you can vacuum your own car?! This place is awesome, well-​lit and open until 9pm on a Friday… also play music while you vacuum. Vacuums for each side of the car and for only $ 9 my car was spotless and free towel dry. New favorite win!

My wife and I both think this place is great. You can’t beat the value. The staff is always super friendly. We are both monthly members of the base level membership. Go twice a month and it basically paid for itself.
Some of the negative reviews puzzle me. It’s still drive thru car wash but the free towel dry and free vacuums are a huge bonus. Don’t expect this place to be more than that, but you can expect this place to be better than any gas station or HEB.
This wash is perfect for the weekly rinse off, especially during spring pollen season or the rare rain storm.

I appreciate the simplicity and affordability of the car wash. I easily traveled 12 minutes or so to come here and I liked it very much.
As any guy who details his own car I appreciate that I can spend as much time as I like vacuuming all the nooks and crannies at my own pace.
My only drawback on this visit was that the young men wiping down my car did not get all of my car. The driver side towel boy got my windows and mirrors in the front with no glass cleaner. The passenger side towel boy used cleaner on a small part of my window, but left my passenger window and mirror wet… so the mirror looked wiped, but dried with water spots and smear stains.
In the end, I had a passenger front window that was partially shiny and a drivers window that was hazy
I am not terribly upset, since it took me some minutes later to see it, but I would have appreciated the better attention to detail. I was not able to turn around and I felt powerless anyways since there was a large amount of traffic and long line I would have had to navigate (I already waited to get the wash).
It is a good deal for a monthly rate and I may return to give it another try, but the ex-​military in me wishes they would have performed a little better.
Wash N’ Roll barely gets 4 Stars instead of 3 Stars only because of the affordable deal they offered, and it was my first time. If I return and the quality stays the same, thus showing it was not a «one-​off» situation… I will realistically adjust my rating.

Update: 6÷7÷14 So i’ve decided to upgrade the stars from 2 to 3. You just have to appreciate this place for what it is. Unlimited gas station car washes for $ 15 a month. I still recommend getting your car fully washed, waxed, and detailed from a real car wash place once every 3 months or so.

I signed up for the unlimited car wash and was a bit disappointed in the wash quality. This place is run exclusively by teenagers. Ran through the wash the first time and then got «towel dried.»
I then parked my car and got out to take a look and was a bit annoyed to find there was still bird sh*t on my car, the front bumper was still covered in bugs, and there were places where the wash had missed (might have something to do with the fact my car is a hatchback).
It’s a bit annoying that the towel dry guys didnt at least say something like «hey dude, you should go run your car through again, there’s still bird sh*t on the roof.»
instead, they gave me a thumbs up like i was good to go.
I don’t know. Maybe expecting a clean car from a car wash is asking too much.
I’ll run with the unlimited plan a little bit longer but as of right now i’m leaning towards canceling.

I just popped through Wash N’ Roll for the first time after having several… wash attempts, let’s call them… from the car wash at HEB. My car was looking meh so I thought. oh sure why not.
A guy came up and greeted me right away which was really nice, since I had no idea what to do. He explained all the washes and gave me a handy little card that explains their monthly unlimited pass options.
The second attendant was very quick but got everything done before I went into the wash, and the wash seemed pretty thorough. The third attendant who gave me a free towel dry was quick, and very nice. When I got home, I noticed that the front of my Honda Fit still had some bugs — the wash hadn’t gotten the hood very well but everything else — wheels, sides, top. back…everything that the HEB wash was missing was all nice and shiny. So yah, I’ll probably go again. It’s close to home, doesn’t take long and gets the job done.
