Firestone Complete Auto Care

So I take my car here and tell them to check the left rear wheel because I’m hearing road noise at high speeds. They check the car and call me back that the tire is bad because it is out of alignment. They also tell me I need new brakes (25% wear left) and transmission and anti-​freeze flushes. I have them replace the tire and fix the alignment only and they said they would be finished in 30 to 45 minutes. I arrive an 1 ½ hours later in a hurry to get to work and the car’s still in the rack. When I finally get my receipt (after I paid on my debit card) I noticed they charged me $ 22 for a 25-​point safety inspection or something like that. Wtf, I didn’t ask for that. They do that crap anyway in order to sell you more services, NOBODY should have to pay for it!
Now I’m going to get my brakes checked at Professional Muffler — my regular and always trusted source for brake jobs. I’m guessing they’re not as worn as Firestone says they are.
