After my last experience at Pearl Vision, I swore I would never go back there (I waited forever and ever to see the eye doctor and then got charged out the whazoo for a two pairs of glasses which were supposed to be a buy one get one free deal; and a year later much of the coating on the lenses has scratched off leaving me with blotchy lenses…)
I was a patient of Dr. Fitzgerald’s when she used to be at Pearl Vision in Westdale Mall. She has struck out on her own and her practice has been growing by leaps and bounds.
My visit was very professionally conducted. Lot’s of care and attention from the various staff members there. The service was a little slow for my liking (which is the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5), but even so, I felt well cared for. All the equipment is top of the line and computerized which is a bonus.
With my vision discount through my health insurance I got a great new pair of glasses and my eye exam for only $ 240! The woman who helped me select my frames was very courteous and helpful.
One of the reasons I went back to Dr. Fitzgerald’s office is because I am aware of all the great things she has been doing in the community and around the world. She has been part of sponsoring an eye care clinic in Cedar Rapids that serves the underprivileged. She has also built an eye care clinic in Kenya.
If you need an eye doctor you really should see Dr. Fitzgerald!
