I can’t speak for the sales department. My review is only for the service department. This dealership has terrible customer service. I brought my vehicle in under warranty to have a mildew smell in the ac looked at and they could not find the problem. Apparently there was a plug in the hole that releases the condensation and water was building up. My garage I get my oil changed at found the problem and cleaned it out without charge.
While I was there attempting to get that fixed I also asked about fixing the power outlet in the front. It wasn’t working. They would not fix it under warranty for some reason and said it would cost over $ 300 to fix. I took it to a car audio shop down the road and they had it fixed for $ 40.
I also had broken my antenna off in a low parking garage. I knew this would not be covered by warranty but I wanted an estimate. They said they had to remove the entire base and replace it and gave an estimate of several hundred dollars. I ended up using a reverse drill bit to get the broken part out and bought a new antenna for $ 10 and screwed it in.
During this same visit I mentioned that sometimes while driving with a passenger, the airbag off light would come on. This would happen while driving and then would correct itself a few minutes later. They would not even look at this, just said that sometimes that happens. So they would not fix the problem under warranty. 2 years after this, I received a recall notice from the manufacturer for the exact same problem. The sensor in the seat was faulty and sometimes the airbag would shut off. My wife called them to schedule an appointment to get it fixed because of the recall. The man in the service department said that they can’t fix it until it is a constant malfunction and not sporadic. I called back and spoke to the same gentleman and he told me the same thing. This was a factory recall notice. I asked him if the recall was for the brakes would I have to wait until they fail completely before they took care of the recall. At that point he agreed to get this safety issue fixed under recall. But wouldn’t take the information like VIN number to order the parts without me coming in. So I had to come in and he looked at the vin and said he would call me when the part came in. The call never came. Finally I called and they said they had the part and would schedule the appointment. When the day came to get it fixed my wife was bringing in the car and called to confirm the appointment before heading out. The man who answered the phone said it was still on and she better get there at exactly that time if she wanted it worked on.
This dealership has the worst service department I have ever seen. Their staff all could use remedial customer service training.

This review is based on test driving a car and not buying a car or service. I just test drove a Toyota RAV4 in Iowa City and decided to try the Mazda CX5. As I left IC, I called to test drive a car. It was agreed by the salesperson to show me the car in 30 minutes. The car was not the trim level I wanted, it was more expensive than I was willing to pay. The salesperson said the higher trim level drives the same as the midlevel trim level. I said «Ok» and test drove it. The experience was great, no pressure. The salesperson was helpful and told me they could get me the trim level I wanted from another dealership. I didn’t buy a car from here because later I found out my insurance would be double for a Mazda CX5 vs. a Toyota RAV4 or Subaru Forester. It’s a wonderful car, and really my second choice behind the Honda CRV but the CRV got recalled and I ended up going all the way to Chicago to get a RAV4. Go figure!

I took my car in on friday sept.17^th picked it up thursday sept. 23^rd… TOOK IT BACK sept. 24^th cause the problem i had sent it in for to get fixed they DIDNT fix they fixed something else. So I went in friday the 24^th dropped off my car demanded that they put me in a car until mine is fixed and they put me in a damn 1999 Ford Taurus, end of story… What the hell…
