We are a natural foods store, specializing in locally produced and locally grown foods. With over 135 local producers, we know where our food comes from, and how it is raised. A full service grocery store, we have amazing produce, dozens of cheeses, an terrific wine, beer, and liquor selection, hand cut meats, breads and pastries that are made from scratch every day with love, and a deli with the best sandwiches and salads around. Not to mention a knowledgeable staff who can assist with questions for everything from recipes to skin care and aromatherapy. We are 100% locally owned! We are open to all shoppers, no membership necessary to shop!

History

Established in 1971.

New Pioneer’s founders in 1971 were committed to environmental stewardship and sought food that was naturally delicious and healthful. Today we maintain those same commitments, and over 31,000 community members own a share in this grocery store that reflects their values.
