Nice cozy place downtown. Excellent service. Had the salmon dish. It was very tasty with the right amount of sauce with mushroom and grits. Definitely will come back when visiting this area

What an awesome place to eat!!! Atmosphere is grand, the service was great and truly happy. I had the steak sandwich and upgraded to the sweet potato fries. The sandwich was excellent, but the sweet potato fries were the best I’ve ever had! They are cooked to perfection and have a maple sauce that great… Must try

We came here specifically for a burger, and a delicious burger is what we got! The sweet potato fries were off the charts good! We had the Zeppelin Balls(I think that’s what they were called) as an appetizer, they were amazing. My ONLY complaint is their kids menu was pretty boring, just like most restaurants, but this one even lacked a kids burger. The manager on duty was warm and inviting, my child even commented on how nice and funny he was. We can’t wait to go back and try something different.

Atmosphere= 5, service =5, food=meh…it lacked seasoning. My husband got the Cuban sandwich and I got the turkey burger with smoked Gouda, raspberry bow and bacon. You’d think they’d be full of flavor but unfortunately they fell short. It wasn’t horrible, just was missing some needed seasoning to make our meal great. Otherwise the service and atmosphere is great.

This is probably my Dad’s favorite place, so we had to go while I was visiting. I have to say that he has good taste because it was great — better than just average bar food. Don’t get me wrong, you can still get wings and other typical bar fare — and I did, since I am a wing-a-holic and have been craving cheese wontons since moving to Florida 13 years ago. I was not disappointed! I could eat those cheese wontons weekly. The wings were pretty good, nice and crispy. They gave me a sample of each sauce because I wasn’t sure which one I would like best(their idea). I should have tried one of the salads as they look fabulous and the woman in the booth next to us really seemed to love hers. I couldn’t help but overhear that she ordered a salad that contained an ingredient she could not eat but didn’t realize it until it was served. They gladly whisked it away to make her a fresh one without the problem ingredient — no questions asked, no bad attitude! So many places are not like that, so I am giving them an extra star just for that. Our service was great, too, and the food was well prepared and tasty. Dad had ribs, mom had wings and 16 year old had a burger — its all good!

Good stuff, chicken Marsala and mashed potatoes. Nice selection of Mules on the drink menu and 2 for 1 options.

Wonton are good. Parmesean fries are the best in town. The ribs are decent and don’t have too much fat in them. The zeppelins bites are a rip off. Good happy hour for 2 for 1. Menu is pretty limited

We went here based on Unilocal reviews and couldn’t have had a better meal and dining experience. We started with the Zeppelin balls-like little Reubens bites in my mouth, then on to the Ben Pow salad-highly recommend having the Oriental Vingerette dressing, my husband had the Zeppelin burger with onion twisters, burger was cooked well, good flavors, and great service!

I love finding local spots like this when I am out of town. This place has lots of tasty items to choose from. I went with the filet and I told my buddy that since it was his first time in Iowa that he needed to have the pork chop. We both loved our meals. Not to mention the server was nice and friendly. I will defiantly be back next time in town.

Good food and good service, have a decent amount of beer and liquor. The book maker sandwich and the Garlic roasted duck are my go to. I cant honestly say I’ve had anything bad here. Oh their Pot-Stickers are ridiculously good.

Met some friends and family at Zeppelins for drinks on a Thursday night. Mostly professional crowd and 2 for one drinks. Modern atmosphere…

Food came out wrong after letting management know the OWNER came to let the table know it wasn’t a big deal that the pasta came out with broccoli because it coukd be picked out. When the owner was told he could work on his customer service skills he said that wasn t necessary because they were the most profitible restaurant in Iowa and didnt make mistakes. Horrible horrible horrible never going back

We wanted to find a pub/bar style place to eat for lunch yesterday so we decided to go to Zeppelin’s based on a recommendation by a co-worker. You walk in and it seriously looks like an old school bar and Soprano’s-esque night club. Really cool. The host showed us our table and our waitress promptly came over and took our orders. We ordered the Zeppelin bites as an app and they were delicious. I ordered the Zeppelin burger with regular fries,(uploaded picture), and it was great. It was a tad greasy but what good burger isn’t. It tasted great. The meat was cooked properly, it was seasoned a little bit, the ingredients were fresh. Pretty darn good. The fries are a bit larger than normal and were hot and crispy, just like I like them. The burger was $ 10.95. It might sound a tad steep, but it was worth it. I will definitely be coming back to Zeppelin’s when I come to Cedar Rapids again. The prime rib sandwich looked really good.

This restaurant is mind bogglingly amazing. Lets start with ambiance– the design is so classy. A bit dark, cool art on the walls. Always a very vibrant crowd as well. The bar layout is inviting. All the servers I have had have been sweethearts, and like the management, they have a great sense of humor. I have ordered the Zeppelin burger, their new one with Gouda and avocado, chicken marsala, the bookmaker, and the blackened chicken sandwich. I have never been disappointed with any of these. The fries are perfectly cooked. Burgers juicy as ever. Always makes sure the meat is cooked well. They have a ranch called Smoked Onion Ranch I always get that is above and beyond(shoutout to the people who need good ranch with a burger or fries this is the place for you). They have a caesar salad with pita chips, red onion, and pistachio that is probably one of the best recipes ever. I recommend getting it before your entrée. They have a two for one happy hour that my family loves and if I were of age I would definitely take advantage of. It goes so well with the food options. It can get busy and food can get out slow but that is nothing when you want an excellent meal you can count on. 1 million/10

I was in Cedar Rapids on a business trip and some of the people I work with in that area suggested Zeppelin’s for our team get-together. We arrived early for our 5pm meeting time and were pleased to find out about their 2 for 1 Happy Hour drink special(and they actually bring you TWO drinks at the same time so once you get over the idea that you look like a lush, sit back and enjoy the happy hour!!). My Skinny Margatini was excellent and pretty strong, which is unusual when the price is so reasonable. We ordered several appetizers and main courses for our party of 8 and everything was really tasty, fresh and the portion sizes were generous. Our waitstaff was spot-on and kept the drinks and food flowing. Zeppelin’s will be my Cedar Rapids go-to spot in the future — looking forward to a return visit.
