I love their boneless wings, I always ask for the hottest they can get and they are awesome! Chrissy was a great add on as a bartender the the place. It had been I bar I ignored for 10 years, then it was remodeled and I thought I would give it a go, glad I did. It will become a frequent visit for me.

Figured we’d go here to get a bite to eat. Prior to closing for the renovations, they had some of the BEST burgers in the world! I ordered a make your own burger — ordered it with american cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, raw onion and mayo, with an upcharge for onion rings. Husband ordered the«Philly Steak» sandwich, no onions, with fries. First let me say the poor waitress tried VERY hard to keep things comfortable while we waited the 20 minutes for our food. She was polite and sweet. When the food arrived, it was horrible. My husbands sandwich was 5 slices of steak-ums fried until they were on the edge of burned. They put a single cheese slice on it, along with fried onions. This was all served on a stale, plain, dry bun. His fries looked good, but were greasy beyond belief! Major fail on this plate. My burger was burned(I ordered it well done, not crispy). The lettuce was slimy, the tomato and onion were sliced so thick, they looked like they were cut by a 5 year old with the knife that came with the play-dough kit. There was so much mayo on the otherwise dry, stale bun that I had to scrape some off. While doing so, I noticed the bacon. EEG. I would LOVE to see the cook and owners try and eat it. It was RAW. Soft, and«floppy» is fine, but this looked like they threw it on the grill as an after thought only long enough to warm it — cooking it would have taken even longer, I guess. When we brought the onions on my husbands sandwich to the waitress’ attention, she offered to have another made for him. We already waited too long for the one we got, so we declined. She was apologetic, and seemingly rather concerned for her tip. Poor thing. In the end, we paid over 16.00 for our meal and they had taken his sandwich off the bill!!! So NOT what it used to be. Such a shame. It used to be one of our favorite places to go for a burger. For the bar owners’ sake, I hope they find kitchen staff that cares about what goes out to the table, and start looking at the food cost cuts they are making — or they are going to lose so much more than they will ever make!

They’ve re-opened under new ownership and the burger is probably the best I’ve had in a year or more. You can tell they’re still getting their feet under them but worth the stop for sure if you’re hungry.

I was completely, pleasantly surprised by Hunters Inn. My wife and I and our daughter came here for lunch on a saturday. We were greeted by a cheerful server immediately as we walked through the door. This made us feel very welcome. the bloody mary was delicious. Perfectly spicy and flavorful. The appetizer sampler was more along the lines of what we expected. Boneless drummies, onion rings, cheese sticks and breaded mushrooms, all frozen, no big deal. The sauces were a standout though. They make their own blue cheese(score!!) and they have a chipotle barbecue sauce that made want to lick the ramekin. The cowboy burger(american cheese, mushrooms, sauteed onion, bacon) was awesome! a fresh, hand pattied burger cooked to perfection. Our server Amy, was cheerful and attentive. The atmosphere was that of a small town beer hall that has nothing but country on the jukebox and nascar on the tv. You could tell that they truly care about their product quality however. Start cutting your own fries and battering your own onion rings and mushrooms and you get 5 stars! Nice job Hunters. you will be our north metro staple!

Did not have a good time here. Really felt that if you are not a local regular, you dont belong. Can’s say much for the staff other than«meh», and the clients are not really warm to the idea of «outsiders». If your looking for a drink and a better time as well, drive north a couple miles and go to Fat Boys.
