History

Established in 2002.

KW Kustoms began as a small drapery workroom in the basement of it’s owner, Kim Weis.

Years of fabricating custom window designs and home décor for clients has evolved KW Kustoms into a studio with a passion for creating «Art» on the windows.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Kim has sewn from as far back as she can remember. Her mother was a fabulous seamstress who loved to make clothes or home décor of all types for the family. Her mother’s passion became Kim’s. College trained Kim for a career in teaching, which she loved and did for 13 years. After the birth of her first child, Kim’s desire to work from home helped take her passion for sewing and turn it into a home-​based business. In 2000, a friend introduced Kim to Vera of VEC Workrooms. Two years of hands on training from an incredible teacher/​seamstress, such as Vera, prepared Kim for the journey she has been on ever since.
