My daughter recieved a gift certificate from the owners for graduation. She totaled her car and is using our vehicle until Aug 2016 when she goes to the navy. She wanted to go on a 3 day trip so I told her she should get it serviced. She called and they said they would try to squeeze it in. My daughter was at work so I took it in for her. But the owner said this is really only for her car and was this her car? I said no that she wrecked her car but this is what she will be driving until she leaves. Again I was told that the gift certificate was for her car. Then she said well I could ask if it would be ok. But by then I was feeling so VERY uncomfortable as if I was taking advantage of them or my daughter, I just asked for my keys back and left. What would you do or think?
So my daughter went after work is see what happened and they offered her $ 30.00 in place of the gift certificate and so my daughter said I still need it serviced when can you get it in and how much will it be they said Monday and it would be $ 70.00. You can draw your own conclusions but I cancelled the appointment. If they don’t stand behind their own gift certificate what I think it’s pretty pain that they may not stand behind anything.

This is my go to place. Wayne is super honest. Brought one of my cars in after moving to the area and said I needed steering work done, possibly tie rods etc based on last shops advice. Wayne looked it over and told me all I needed was tires most likely from being parked too long (which it was). He could have sold me all kinds of work and I wouldn’t have known. He doesn’t even sell tires. Now I take all my cars to Spot Automotive every time.
