This little cookery consistently delivers great food with excellent service. We’ve eaten here each summer for over five years and haven’t had a bad meal yet. The pizza, Mediterranean and seafood items remain the best in the Eastern UP. I suspect one would need to travel three hours to Traverse City or Marquette for similar quality. But, even if one made the trip, s/he wouldn’t find that food at this price. Fired Up! sets the bar for restaurant food quality and value throughout the northern lower and upper peninsulas.

Very good food. Love the fatoosh, Gyros, stromboli, calzones, pizzas are all good. Soooo nice to have quality options for Mediterranean dishes. Family owned and operated. Great asset for the Les Cheneaux area — we are lucky to have a place this good in town.

You can drive 400 miles and not find food this good right here in Cedarville. Came in ready to order a pizza but ended up choosing the chicken alfredo pasta. Wow! The food here is awesome. The menu is so varied it’s going to take a long time to sample everything.

Pizza has a special place in my heart, so I try to have a pizza in every city that I visit– just to compare from region to region. Living in Louisville has really spoiled me when it comes to pizza and I love that. However it does make me a harsh critic on other pizza places. Fired Up has good pizza. That’s really all I have to say about it. It’s in a small town with no other pizza options nearby other than a frozen pizza from the grocery. So with that being said, they’ll have no problem having just good pizza. The pizza menu is pretty similar to any other pizza joint– meat lovers, veggie, supreme, create-your-own, etc. I liked the meat lovers the best. All of them had a bit of a doughy center, LOTS of cheese, and more sauce than I typically care for. I wish we had tried some of the other foods on the menu so we could have had more of a variety, but it was close to closing for them so we didn’t want to overwhelm them at the end of the day.

Love this place! We have had the pizza, gyros, and now the chicken kabobs and everything has been amazing. Fresh ingriedients and everything is cooked to order. I ordered the chicken kabobs tonight. They were cooked out back over a wood fire while I waited. I was concerned if it would be enough for both my husband and me… we have leftovers! It was served over a bed of basmati rice with grilled tomatoes and green peppers. It came with two freshly baked pita bread and a small greek salad. This place is wonderful and so are the owners! A must try in the LCI!

Stopped here during our vacation and everyone in our group loved their selection. The hummus with homemade pita and the bruschetta were both great, as was the pizza. One of the best places we tried from the limited selection of restaurants in the area.

Great pizza. Attentive owners. First time we’ve ever been asked the question, «soft or crispy crust?» Crispy, of course. Fresh ingredients, too. We also saw some of their mediterranean food being prepared, and it looked great.

I love this place and can’t wait for it to re-open this spring. The pizza is amazing as is the middle-eastern fare. The family who runs this restaurant is wonderful and they really know how to cook. Sometimes you have to wait a bit for your order but it’s because there are SO many people here who all want good food! You can also get salads and fruit smoothies so if you’re looking for a healthier option, remember this place has a LOT of great options, not just pizza.

Tried after the boat show. Small area to eat. Great salads. Good pizza, love the crust. Order a whole vs slices

This husband and wife owned restaurant is amazing! When we visit my parents’ cottage in the beautiful Les Cheneaux Islands, Fired Up is a must-have. Even better than the pizza is their homemade hummus and pita bread. They’ve only been open for a year or two, but have added several new items to their menu. Although they have a few small tables inside and one picnic table outside, this is more of a carry out restaurant. When our craving gets too great, we take the dog, hop in the boat and make a hummus run. Even though my dog is terrified of boats and panics the entire time(he’s actually jumped out of the boat twice!), it is worth the trip.
