History

Established in 2009.

Suzanne Smith, MA has been providing counseling at Align Counseling of Colorado since February 2009 for couples, families and individuals to achieve healthy relationships which are paramount to a sense of well-​being. As a Level Two EMDR therapist, Suzanne also provides counseling which include trauma, grief and loss, and chronic illness, as well as for individual counseling.

Suzanne Smith, LCSW completed her Masters of Social Work in 2003 from The University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work in Denver, Colorado. She received her License in Clinical Social Work in the State of Colorado in 2011. Suzanne received her Post graduate certificate in couples and family therapy in 2010 from Denver Family Institute in Denver, Colorado. Before starting her own practice in 2009, Align Counseling of Colorado, she was a Social Worker and Grief Counselor at The Denver Hospice in Denver, Colorado from 2009 to 2013. Suzanne has also been an Adjunct instructor at The University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work in Denver, Colorado since 2012. Suzanne started her practice to empower people to achieve and sustain strength, richness, depth and quality in relationships and in life. She is amazed at the inner strength, connectedness, resourcefulness and creativity observed in the people of her community.
