Dr. Craig B.

Business Owner

Dr. Craig Burns first visited a chiropractor at the age of 21. He had suffered for years, even as a teenager with headaches, fatigue, muscle spasms in the neck and shoulders, and a variety of other health problems. Standard medical and physical therapy didn’t help him. While working long hours to put himself into medical school a friend suggested he see a chiropractor. With this doctor’s help he found a career and calling that he truly aligned with and believed.

With a burning desire to help others and to improve in himself, he continues to learn about and help further his profession. He holds a Distinguished Fellow status in the profession’s top research and technique group. He is also a member of the Colorado Chiropractic Association and the International Chiropractic Association. He has received many awards and acknowledgements for his service and dedication to his profession.

This facility is amazing! I haven’t had such quality care in my life and I have been going to chiropractors and massage therapist for 15 years. Highly recommended, especially if you have an issue you have previously been told there is nothing that can be done… they will find a solution to your problem, and work with you personally to resolve it!

I was diagnosed with a shoulder impingement. I had little luck with physical therapy increasing my mobility. After my first visit, my mobility increased at least 80%+. Dr. Kevin Holman is very tuned in with what my needs are and addresses them each visit. I highly recommend this practice.

I live a very active lifestyle, in which I find myself often in pain. Not to mention, from time to time I get severe migraines that will last days. I never thought, that seeing a Chiropractor, would help ease my pain/​soreness. I happened to hear about Maximized Health Chiropractic and Wellness Center, and decided to give them a try! I met with Dr. Hansen, and immediately got the impression that he would help me out with all this pain I’ve been experiencing! He’s very knowledgeable, very sincere and really listens to your concerns. I see Dr. Hansen at least once or twice a month! I’m very grateful for his help and so grateful for Maximized Health Chiropractic and Wellness Center! Every time i walk out of their facility, i really feel like a new and improved «ME!»

The team at Maximized Health Chiropractic is phenomenal! They are friendly, knowledgeable, compassionate and just all-​around great people! They encourage a rounded wellness experience — offering home exercises and equipment to ensure you’re making the most of your work with them (make sure you do them! It’s worth it!). In previous experiences, I felt like the chiropractors just wanted me to keep coming back and didn’t generally care about how much I improved. At Maximized Health, we talked through an action plan and realistically, where that would put me in a few months. They actually WANT you to get healthy! After a few months of treatment, I was able to reduce my visit frequency and noticed a HUGE difference in how I felt. I could stand for longer periods of time without discomfort and the headaches I would get several times a week are almost completely a thing of the past! Whether you’ve been to many chiropractors, or you’re a newbie, I highly suggest checking them out!

This place has great service and they take good care of you. When I first found this place I could hardly walk and was in a lot of pain. I have come a long way thanks to Dr. Hansen (who always makes me laugh with his bad jokes) and Rebekah. Rebekah’s massages are amazing. She has some unique techniques and has inadvertently put my hip back in just through massage. This is the best chiropractic practice I have been to and I highly recommend!

After a snowboarding accident, I have been in serious neck and shoulder pain for the past three years. I have been to multiple doctors, 2 other chiro, accupunture and massage. Every person I had seen so far focused on pain managment so I thought I was going to be stuck with this pain for the rest of my life. At 23, this bummed me out majorly. I found a living social for only $ 29 that had a free massage and checkup that included an exam and xrays. From the moment I started coming here, I have felt like I am in good hands. This is the first place out of all of the doctors I have seen to take xrays and find out that I had fractured a vertibre in my spine which has caused a lot of my pain. The staff here are kind, understanding and supportive. From the begining, they have pushed me to feel better. They are professional and knowledgable. They set me up on a treatment plan and so far this is the best I have felt in the last 3 years, and it is not just pain management, I am getting back to a healthier lifestyle. They were extremely accomidating regarding payment plans, and try to be affordable and accessable to people who need it (like me). If you are thinking about checking them out definitly do it, you won’t regret it!

The staff is super personable and treat you like a friend and not just another number to get in and out the door. It was a Livingsocial deal that got me to make my first appointment, but the quality and care of the staff is what got me to return. I was skeptical of holistic medicine for awhile, but I’ve since learned just how wrong I was. The team at Maximized Health has been so thorough and detailed explaining things and answering all of my questions, that I really felt comfortable literally putting my health in their hands.
There are two doctors, Dr Burns and Dr Hansen. I have been adjusted by both and felt comfortable with both, but you can really tell that the clinic is Dr Burns pride and joy. He’s so passionate about health and wellness and that really shows in the attitude of the entire staff. They offer free seminars on nutrition and fitness, which are very informative and helpful, and don’t feature items they are getting paid to promote.
There are several steps you go through for each appointment, from stretching to muscle therapy, and at every step, the staff is all on the same page, thanks to a fully digitized health record system. It’s clear that they compare notes for each patient.
I was sent home with orders for self-​guided physical therapy, and they really can tell, and will call you out on not doing your therapy. I was told that if I wasn’t going to do my part, that they would stop adjusting me, as that would do more harm than good, and would not create lasting change. I really respected that they expect me to take control of my health. I feel like the entire goal of this place is to get you well, and out the door, rather than to keep you coming back for life. I’m still in treatment, but so far, so good!

Being part of the MHC community is just that… an experience. This is the only chiropractic office I’ve been to that the staff really walks beside you, encourages you in your complete wellness, and gives you so many tools to benefit you along the way. I am so happy that I found MHC to trust in helping me reach my health goals!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Craig and his staff for the past three months after an auto accident. The improvements that he has helped me make in range of motion, flexibility, and pain have been outstanding. I’ve never once left his office feeling like he did more harm than good, which is a lot more than what I can say about other chiropractors.
Dr. Craig works on muscles, as well as the spine, which is why you’ll find powerplate machines, gym balls, and a massage station in his practice. These definitely help you recover faster after you’ve been in an accident.
I also highly recommend Maximized Health’s massage therapists, Katrina and Jenny. They were both able to work out a lot of the tension in my muscles, and I always left feeling 10x better than when I came in.
On top of that, his front office staff is as good as it gets. They’re friendly, courteous, and are willing to work with you when you need a schedule change at the last minute. If you call outside of office hours, they always return your calls in a timely manner. They also greet you every time you arrive and leave — it feels like family.
Overall, I give Maximized Health five stars for excellent chiropractic and massage therapy services.
